Chapter One

I walked through the door of my room and layed down on my bed. Matthew, my true love but also one of the people I wanted, would be here in a few mintues to rescuse me from this hell. I was fighting with my father, Brain, again. He know about this ridcoulsy love traingle that was going on between Matthew, Brad, and me. He was trying to get me to choose Brad but everyday I was leaning more and more towards Matthew because he would never leave me, but with Brad would and leave me forever. But still, I couldn't bear the thought of hurting Brad like Matthew hurt me when he left. I wouldn't do it, no matter how much it hurt me. The only thing that hurt me now was how much I hurt Matthew with the time I spent with Brad. He wouldn't ban me from seeing Brad but I saw how much it hurt him everytime he saw me with him or if I even said his name.
I was a horrible preson. I was going to hell for all the pain I was causing the people I loved. I would die mersible and alone if I didn't choose somebody. But Matthew was my soulmate. He completed me. Brad was my comfort zone, he was there for me when Matthew wasn't. So it it's a suprise that I fault something for him.
I felt something beside me and looked up into Edwards beautiful face. When he saw my face his face hardened a little then softened.
"Love, why are you crying?" Matthew asked caressing my face with the back of his smooth, cold hand.
A shock was sent through my body at his touch, wishing we could do more. But we couldn't maybe that was anouther reason I wanted Brain. But we hadn't done anything...yet...not that I planned on donig anything with him, only with Matthew.
"I-I'm fine," I said whipping my face. I didn't want to speak out loud the reson he already knew.
He knew I was crying because of the pian I was causing everbody.
"Chealsa," Matthew started.
"Matt I'm fine. Really. I've just had a really long and horrible day. That all change when you walked in."
Matt smilied a sad smile, "I'm gald I can make you feel better. We don't have to go tonight if you don't want to."
I tryed not to groan. He was talking about the dance. He was looking forward to going it. He wanted to go to shut everybody up that we were on the point of breaking up. I wanted to go to make Matt happy.
"No, I already got my dress."
"Are you sure? If you don't want to go we can go somewhere else."
I smiled at him, "Matt, sweetie, I want to go. Let me get ready."
"Okay what do you want me to do while you change?"
"You could go sit in the living room."
Matt made a face before walking out of my room. As soon as he walked out my cell phone started to beep, telling me I had a text message. I glanced at the screen before throughing it on my bed. The text was from Brad. I couldn't read it before going to the dance with Matt. I knew what he was going to say.

We were the last ones to arrive at the dance. Matt opened my car door and helped me out, then he wrapped his arm around my waist in a protetive manner that he always did when Brad was around. I looked to see if he was near and sure enough he was standing by the doorway looking sraight at us, or more true, at me.
"Matt," I said looking at his face, "be good.
"Aren't I always?" He muttered leading me to the doors.
