Tristan had gone through
tears, nights of loneliness
and in various occasions he
had a bottle of wine to console
his broken heart.

Anna had cried for a bad love
someone who was cruel and mean
to her, a man that never faced
his truth, a man that hurt her
too deeply but then one day she
saw Tristan's blue eyes and knew
he was going to make a difference
in her life.

Their first date was perfect,
his fish fillet was tender and good
and her grilled chicken was the best
she ever had. They had cheesecake for
desert and laughed at many stories, they
were one at that moment, they felt it in
their hearts.

One sad moment of that first day was when
Tristan remembered his mother who was no
longer with him, her story was sad and he
never shared it with any one, only with Anna
was he able to talk about all that was past
that him so much since he was an eleven year
old boy.

His mother in nice summer dresses, her beautiful
short curly hair and sweet eyes, the way she made
special things for him to eat, the treats he got
from her, the special cup cakes, the sweetness of
her voice. Anna understood, a good mother is always
remembered, they both had a story to tell about their
lives, about their past but they talked about the way
their friendship seemed to be getting romantic.

Tristan was happier that he had ever been, he was even
sailing again, he had stopped all together when his
relationship with Elle ended in a bad way, he still had
one person important to him, his son, the one that
mattered the most, he had to give him all his love, all
his attention, for he was a little boy who deserved to
be loved.

Anna felt good with him, the both loved books, writing
and music, his world revolved around music and writing.
He made a living at both, he liked to share those gifts
with his love. Anna had spent way too many days and
nights alone, crying from a broken heart. After losing
her only good love Bill in a war she thought she could
love again but she was hurt in a way that made her hate
men with all her heart but then Tristan came along and
saved her heart.

On the day of her birthday she had to work, she felt so
sad for that and so many other things, no family around
for she had lost them a long time ago, her job seemed
to be crumbling but he once again saved the day with his
proposal. They danced in the terrace of his beach house
he had lavander and vanilla candles to make it more
romantic and then he knelt down and asked her "baby, I
love you too much to spend my life without you, would you
marry me?, say yes or I'll die with a broken heart".
"Oh baby", she said and kissed his lips with cheesecake
flavor and then she responded "yes, yes, yes I want to be
your loving wife, be all yours".

A beautiful ring from Tiffany's, the lovely blue box with
the white ribbon, Anna felt like crying, she never expected
something like that, she looked at her hand now and felt
feelings for a man who deserved to be loved, for he was a
real man, one of those men that deserved to be love with all
heart. Now she had a task at hand, to plan their wedding
small and very intimate, something romantic. Their was no
date yet for they wanted to do something really special
but they knew that they could even elope to Vegas and do it
just the two of them like one of her friends did one time.

Bill would never be gone, he was her guardian, her lost mate
but Tristan was a good lasting love, one she needed to make
life beautiful in hard times in good times. She wanted to be
kiss by him at all times, cuddled with him in bed and feel his
warmth. She loved how on Sundays when they were together he
would make a big pot of coffee and make cup cakes himself how
his mom tought him how to do it, they even thought of having
cup cakes at the wedding instead of a traditional wedding cake
it sounded so perfect.

They slept together holding each other, they both knew that they
had a good love, Tristan knew about Anna's past, her love for Bill,
her love for a man who came later on to tear her world apart, Anna
knew about his love for Elle and the way it all ended, about the
little boy who loved his father, the one she would love as if it was
her own knowing he had a mother but she could be a good friend to
him always. They kissed, made love and went to sleep for they have
each other's warmth.
