hoodie that says, “love pink” in black print. Her hair was tight up in a ponytail. It’s Saturday and we can’t decide were to go. I suggested the movies but none of is good. We can tell if a movie is interesting or not. It’s a thing Ginger and me do sometime when were bored.

“We can ride our bikes in the park,” I suggested, again. She shock her head and I race to my garage and toke out my bike. The park was rarely empty and we drove around the block and for some reason Ginger stopped me.

“That’s him. The guy I was telling you about, earlier.” She said, getting of her bike. I turn around saw a guy in red cargo shorts and white tank top. From what it looks like, he’s might be texting or paying games because he’s smiling. Few days ago she told me that her cousin was seeing this new guy in town. Basically he’s a bad guy from what Ginger told me and he had sex more then 10 times with different girls. Her cousin and the guy have been dating for 2 weeks and for some reason he kept pressuring her to have sex. At first I wasn’t sure why Ginger was telling me this but, she also found out that he’s father is rich and wanted to rob him out of money. And not for what he did to her cousin but because she needed it. I thought she was joking at first but she was serious.

“What he’s name again?” I asked

“Randall, but people call him Randy. He is such an ass. I mean, look at him,” she said, while looking at him. I wasn’t sure why she was mad.

“What are you mad about?” I was curious.

She turns to me and said, “ that guy has done things I wanted to do, and he’s only a year older then us”.

I look at her as if she was crazy, “wait, you’re jealous because of that?”

“Not only that, but he’s money. We need to rob him.” She said, all excited.

‘”We’” I said, “There is no ‘We’ Ginger. If you’re going to rob him, your on your own”. Frustrate, she stomp her feet to the ground like a 5 year-old saying “come on, please!” She yells.
Sometime I don’t get her, and it’s like she from another world.
When she says that, the guy with the cellphone look up as if we were fighting over something and I quickly locked eyes with him. From where I was standing it looked like he had blue eyes and at the same time I see green color in his eye.
“Come on Sunshine, will be late for Corey’s party.” Ginger got on her bike, so did I and I can fell the Randy’s eyes on me while my best friend and I drove to Corey’s house together.
* * * *
Before we when to Corey’s house, Ginger wanted to change, and for some reason she always want guys at the party to stair at her. Also her mom isn’t home so she doesn’t care. She wore a Victoria secret dress, which is really cute. I borrowed a T-shirt from her that also reads “Love Pink”. I noticed that she really love Victoria secret.
* * * *
“What are up, girls?” Corey said, opening the door for us. For some reason, Ginger and I always arrive at Corey’s party really early, and when I say early, I mean an hour early. You can say I always rush her. When she takes about an hour to even pick out her outfit. Not that I mind, but it’s killing me.

I go “ hey Corey!” waving my hand. Ginger greeted and Corey let us in. The house was empty. I only see balloons, chairs, and decorations I recognized from a dolor store.

“I was afraid this might happened.” I go.

“It’s fine, we have a few hours to kill.” Corey goes.
He was right. We did kill few hours. Before I knew it, Corey’s place was packed with his friends. Mostly girls. There’s people I knew from school who came and greeted me while I’m sitting in the kitchen counter, while I lean into the top drawers, drinking not Beer but Root Beer. I was in LaLa Land when I noticed the guy from the park, here at this party. I snapped into reality and gazed at him. I noticed, he change his white T-shirt into an Ed hardy red graphic tee, and a white khaki style pants with a red belt and a shiny Reebok shoe. I wasn’t sure why he’s here and I wanted to make sure. I knew Corey wouldn’t be friend with him because; he’s not the type of guy that does players. Good timing, I though, as I see him approached the refrigerator, while few people leave the kitchen.

“Hey Corey” I greeted. I was on my feet next to him.

“Hey, are you having a good” he asks, taking a few soda. I ignored him and went for my question.

“Did you invite Randy over” I asked, flatly. I could tell he was confused, the way he looks at me.
“Who’s Randy” he goes.

I pointed to the guy in the Reebok shoes. He said, “I never seen him before. Why’d you ask?”

“ Oh, I just though you knew him. Just wondering”

“ Will be careful. I heard he’s bad news so don’t get too attacked”

“What did you hear?” I ask.

“He’s a player and messes girls felling, thinking he can get away with it”. I was surprised he doesn’t know about how rich his dad is. I know he didn’t care about money, only when it comes to college. Ginger came, taking a soda In Corey’s hand saying, “Did you see him”.

“Yea, we were just talking about him” I elbowed Corey.
He’s all “ you two knew him” looking at me.

I go “ we saw him at the park today.” Before I finished my answer, I gave Ginger a head-up that “he’s” coming this way. Corey gave me a look that says, “What’s wrong”. When he approached the fridge, Corey got out the way, saying excuse me, me standing next to Corey and Ginger across the fridge. I can tell Ginger was eyeballing him, as he took his drink, and I could tell she going to say something but instead Randy said “ great party, Corey”. That was a lie because, with his parent money, I bet he been too greater party then this. No offense t Corey.

“Yea, not really” I go, looking around the room, trying not to make eye contact. Corey looked offended by that but he didn’t say anything.

“So are you new in town or what?” ask Ginger, acting like she doesn’t know the answer to that question.

“I just moved here with my family a few days ago” Randy said.

“Where form?” I jump in the conversation.

“Let me guess,” said Ginger, “Las Vegas, Rome, China”.

“France, actually” he said with an eye. I could tell he didn’t like her because he knew, we know that he’s father is rich. Ginger was looking at me. She knew I kill for anything to go France. I never been there, but I would love to go and knowing that Randy have been to France got me excited to ask him question.

“Oh so you speak French” Cory also jumps in.

“ A little”

“How long have you been there?” I ask.

“ Nine months.” He took a sip of his drink.

“Sunshine really love France, even though she’s never been there” Ginger goes. Randy turns and looked at me with a smile. I try not to get fooled by that smile because of what Ginger say might be true.

“Really, it’s a very nice place,” He goes “ everybody is nice there. I wish I could stay longer, but out family have to relocate around the world because of he’s company.

“So you’ve been to Canada, Australia, and Russia.” I was excited of the fact that he went everywhere. You don’t get to know many people who experience stuff you didn’t. He speaks about 3 differ languages and have a sister who’s a year older that him and I knew right there and then, that the four of us would be very good friends.
