This Is Me by Kelly.D x3 (i am reading a book .TXT) 📕

"I don't even know myself to be honest. Ever since my mum died 12 years ago me and my dad have been constantly moving. This is my 5th high school." she replied " What about you? Where are you from?"

"I'm from Chicago. This is my second high school so far. Is this really your 5th?" I asked and she nodded. She laughed a little when she saw my face. She had the sweetest laugh. I could listen to it for days and not get tired of it. We reached the classroom and I knocked on the door. When the teacher let us in, te whole room went silent. They were all staring at us. I was kind of uncomfortable and I could see Kathy was too. Her cheeks were pink and I could tell she was embarrassed because some guys were staring at her.

"Class, meet our new student Mark and Kathy," He said "Guys have a seat." Then he turned to the rest of the class and told them to take their homework out. Me and Kathy sat next to each other and when I looked at her she looked at me and smiled.

When lunch time came we went to the cafeteria together. She ordered a slice of pizza and some apple juice. I didn't know what to order so I had the same thing as her. We found a table and sat down. I was really hungry so I started eating as soon as I found a table. She looked at me and laughed.

"What?" I asked my mouth full of pizza.

"Nothing," she said shaking her head "It looks like you haven't eaten in days."

I laughed and went back to eating my pizza.

When the final bell of the day went I couldn't have been more happier. All day guys have been staring at me. I really don't know why. I don't think I'm that pretty. I spent all day with Mark today. It was good to have someone with me. All the other highschools I went to I didn't have any friends and I used to stay alone most of the time. I used to go to the library for lunch but this year I decided to change that. I decided to be more friendly and to do what other students at school did.

I said goodbye to Mark and got in my car and drove home. Seconds later I saw Mark's car park in the driveway of a house across the road from mine. He saw me and waved. I waved back and then went inside my house.

"Dad?" No answer. "Heeellloooo?" Still no answer.

He was probably still at work. I dropped my bag on the floor and went upstairs. I layed on my bed and closed my eyes. I was so tired. I got up and went to take a shower. I could use a hot one right now. I got some clothes and underwear out and laid them on my bed. I went insed the bathrrom and got in the shower. 20 mintues later I came out and got dressed. I put on red skinny jeans and a black jumper along with some white sckos. I went dowstairs and made myself a grilled cheese sandwich. I sat down on the couch and turned on the T.V.
