I heard a knock on the door. That must be Sam. I looked at myself in the mirror for the last time.
I was wearing a long purple dress that went to my knees. Cassie did my makeup eventhough me and Sam were just going to the cinimas. She put on a bit of everything. Eyeshadow, eyeliner, foundation and the most important thing, lipstick. I put my hair down. My hair is natural curled. Cassie said when she first met me, she was so jealous of my hair that she started playing hard to get with me. I also had small heart studs.
My dad gave them to me and they're the best earrings in the world. Something can be so cheap but can be priceless for some people. I had a black side bag where I put my normal things in it. Even thread. I don't think I need it tonight but atleast I know its there. After I was done, I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door.
Was this real? Was this gorgeous and handsome boy standing next to me or was I just dreaming?
'Hey' He said looking at me from head to toe. 'You look..... Wow.' Yeah, It was real.
'Thanks.' I said smiling like an idiot. He was wearing a buttoned up white shirt with a black jacket on. He wore the perfect jeans that looked like they were made for him. His hair was the same as always. Just how I like it.
'So you ready to go?' He said.
I was about to say yes when I remember my mobile was charging. I was too busy getting dressed that I forgot the most important thing.
'Oh, I forgot my phone in my room, come in, It'll take a sec.' I said while making way for him to come it. The 3 second he took to come in, I smelled his mint smell. It made me want him more.
I quickly went upstairs to get my phone. No one was at home but I still didn't want him to wait long unless he changed his mind. Whats wrong with you Kaylee? You are a pretty girl. Don't think that your trash towards him!!
Well I can't stop. I keep on feeling like I'm not worth him. I think that he should be with a more prettier and cleverer girl. AAAHHHH!! Its just my nervousness.
I quickly took my phone off the charger and went downstairs. He was looking at a picture of me with my dad. I was 13 and was about to blow the candles. The picture showed me with a blowing-the-cake face on and my dad grinning. Happy times.
'Hey, I've got it.' I said showing him my mobile.
'Okay cool, shall we go?' He said, smiling.
'Yeah.' I said shyly.
We went into his car. I know I should tell you what car he has but I am clueless when It comes to cars. All I can say about it is that it's big and black. We drove to the theatre. In the car, we were talking about school and family. He told me that his dad has an important job. I didn't have an idea what kind of job but he told me it had something got to to with the governments. He told me how he moved here from Florida and how he missed it there but he knew he had to move because his dad's job was here. When we got there, he told me to find a good spot in the cinema while he bought the popcorn. I sat at the back because we were going to watch a scary movie. Sam came. He was looking everywhere to find me. Then he saw me with a big smile on his face.
There was a guy sitting next to me on the left. He smiled at me.
'Hey.' He said.
'Hi.' I said with a smile on my face.
'So you ready to watch Orphan, I heard its pretty scary.'
'Sure, It took some courage but I'm going to watch it.' While I was talking, Sam sat next to me on the right. He looked at the boy next to me. He gave him the evil face. The boy next to me shut up.
'Here you go.' Sam said while giving me the biggest popcorn box in the world.
'Thanks.' He smiled at me and I smiled back.
The movie started.
It was good but I wasn't really paying attention because I was with the most coolest boy in the history of cool boys. And when I reached my hand to get some popcorn, sometimes my hand touched Sam. It gave me the butterflies. Was I actually here?
I pinched myself to see if it was real.
'Ouch.' I shouted. Everyone shushed me.
'Hey, you ok?' Sam said with a concern in his face.
'Yeah.'
When the movie finished, we got out of the cinemas. So much girls checked him out. I was nearly going to smack this one girl who had the nerve to give him a flirty smile. And Sam didn't notice it. He must get used to it back in Florida. Don't they know I was on a date with him?
We were walking to the car. I was too busy getting mad at them girls who were staring at him that I didn't see a coke can that was infront of me. I nearly tripped when Sam put his arms around me. He pulled me closer to him.
I looked in his forest eyes. But I didn't want to look into his eyes. I wanted to kiss him.
Its like he read my mind. He came closer and closer to me that our noses touched.
'Your the most amazing girl I have ever met.' He whispered.
I wanted to say something back, but he kissed me. He kissed me slowly at first. Fireworks were everywhere. I nearly fainted with excitement. This was it.
He kissed me faster and more passionately. He put his hands on my back and I put my hands on his neck and hair.
I let go because if I didn't I would have collapsed on the floor.
'Wow.' I said.
He smiled and said 'You're amazing.'
He then started kissing me more. Then I knew it. I knew that what ever happens, if Sam is with me, I will always stay strong. Whatever happens, I will never give up. When Sam kissed me, I knew that he was the one. The guy that made me smile.
