"I was only asking." I spat.
His face twists up and raises an eyebrow, " And that's the familiar Rosy we all know!"
I roll my eyes and head back into my room, I grab a pair of sweatpants and underwear, grabbing my sports bra and a loose tanktop I slide them on.
I tie my hair up in a bun and look through my scattered room for my bag. I frown when I don't see it and suddenly remember where I left it.
I feel my insides churn when I remember that I left it hidden in the alley way. That bag had everything useful for me in their- and could possibly give away my identity.
In a flash I pull on my vans and open my door to have me crash into a figure.
I fall back with a thud on my ass and look up to see Luis's big figure looming over me.
"Where are you going ?" He barks.
I gulp," to the library ?"
His cold laugh filters the room and I glare at the at the wall next to him.
"Since when have you ever read outside of class ?!""Does it matter?" I retort." What I do when I'm away from my father is whatever I want to." I raise myself to stand and think about how to convince him to let me go .
And by myself.
"Your face looks like fΓΉcking shit right now, Your going to have people interested in you."
I snort and once again try to pass Luis. I stop as I find myself looking into a pair of aqua ocean blue eyes. The look she gave me was of pure disgust and hate.
"What do your want Cynthia." I sneer.
Luis turns around too and faces the demon bìtch, her willowy figure was no match for him as he still towered over her 5'7 frame.
Her eyes took him in pausing over his sleeveless arms that showed muscle and his tattoos. I saw the look of disgust gone immediately and a perky smile now on her face.
"Hi." Cynthia purrs.
"Bye !" I snap. My arm reaches toward my door ready to slam it in her face, when Luis grabs my arm and stops me.
"What do you want ?" He says disinterested.
"To get to know you." Cynthia replies with a wink.
"You just want to get to know my dìck right ? "
"That too."
I slide out of Luis's grip and creep back into my room, heading toward the window. I let one leg out and then the other holding onto the railings on the side. Climbing down, I let myself drop down the last 2 feet.
"Rosaline !" Luis growls from my window.
I flick him off and knowing him, he was giving me at least a 30 second head start.
I run pumping my legs and then climbing over the big gate I turn in time just to see him dropping from my window. Heading into a side street I let the wind blow against my face and soon enough the scenery has changed. No longer the rich smell of fresh cut grass, or the sound of children playing. Instead the sight of abandoned houses, lone figures watching-waiting for danger greets me. I knew by now that I lost sight of Luis and was now letting myself breathe. My feet take me towards the familiar alley and I cautiously check behind my shoulder. Not feeling like anybody was watching me I head toward I last left my bag. Pushing away the stones I sigh in relief seeing my bag still there. Checking it's contents everything still laid in there. I pick it up and slung it over my shoulder heading out. Chucking on my hoody for good measures, I come in contact with a group of Angels.
"KINGS." Is what I heard, and then I realized that I was wearing my colors by accident. Seeing that I was alone, I don't think twice I let my batter body run back into the alley and knew I had to get back in my territory.
