morning dew. The rising sun glinted off of the windows springing rainbows across the lawn.
βI asked Edward here to take you down to the village today. You seemed a bit off yesterday, I thought the exercise would d you good.β I found a smiling Aunt standing at the kitchen door.
βAunt Tess I'm sure I can find my own way, Edward has better things to do.β Something about him just put me on high alert, again this could be due to my over imaginative imagination but then again I donβt want to take any chance.
βNonsense Nora, what have I got better to do than show you to town, itβs really not that far.β Looking up I saw Edward had joined my Aunt at the door and was now grinning ear to ear. To me that seemed pretty creepy, if this was really the type of guy I went for a year ago, I really need to start questioning my sanity.
βWell... if youβre sure.β Just be polite, and maybe he will get the message. That includes my Aunt to as she appears to be the one trying to set us up. Really need to talk to her later.
βWell we better be on own way, Tess. Iβll have her back by dinner.β I waved to my Aunt before being ushered out of the house.
