1: Training


January 1st 1999 12:00 am.

I stepped into the round machine... I buckled up and closed the door.
" 10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1. LIFTOFF!!!"
The machine started spinning around and around and it almost made me sick. It did this for five minutes and stopped.

Febuary 1st 1999 12:00 am.

I stepped into the crane like machine, bucklled up and breathed.
" 10,9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1. LIFTOFF!!!"
The machine vibrated fast getting faster and faster and almost made me sicj. It did this for five minutes and stopped.

March 1st 1999 12:00 am.

I stepped into the small room and i waited... same ever day 3 meals of space food a day and water. It did this for the rest of the month and i got out.

April 1st 1999 12:00 am.
I stepped into the simulater and i had a simulation for 6 months and got out succsesful.

December 30 9:00 pm.

I took a shower and got into my space suit. I was perfectly healthy and clean. They put my helmate on and i stepped into the truck and it took me to Oddity 1.
I stepped into the elivator and it took me to the top. The ship looked like Apollo but bigger. I stepped into the door and closed it. It was a small space but it was big eough. About as big as a small bedroom. I sat dow and made sure everything was perfectly in place, and everything was running.

December 31st 11:45 pm. 15 min. to liftoff. Sunny 80'

My family and friends and other veiwers were outside watching. It was almost midnight but it was a little bit sunny there. Spooky. I listened...
" T- Five minutes and counting."

2: Liftoff


December 31st 1999 11:49 pm.

" Ground controll to Major Tom." Said the radio, " Ground controll to Major Tom... Take our protine pills and put your helmat on"
I took my pills and put on my space helmate, i was a bit nervous... i couldnt believe i was going to be the first man to go to Inernational space station alone!
" ( 10 ) Ground ( 9 ) controll to Major ( 8 ) Tom. ( 7 ) ( 6 ) Commincing ( 5 ) countdown ( 4 ) engines on. ( 2 )Check ignition ( 1 ) and may Gods love be with you... ( Liftoff! )"
I breathed hard as the space ship shook fast. The holders flew to the side and the ship flew lightspeed off the ground.
It wasnt long untill the back ( which is 3/4 of the ship ) detached. About thirty minutes of shaking i was in orbit and the ship was all gon except a small capsul i was in, it was like a tin can to me. I was so sick!
About an hour later i connected to the space station.
The radio came on " This is ground controll to Major Tom, youve really made the great! And the papers want to know whoes shirt you wear! Now its time to leave the capsul if ou dare!"
I stepped to the door. I couldnt believe i was THAT famous. I opened the door and stepped through and said to ground controll " This is Major Tom to ground controll! Im stepping through the door, and im floating in the most pacular way! And the stars look very different, today!"
I stepped in and started my work. 30 days i built in it and ate space food and i was back in the ship and radiod to GC " for here i am sitting in my tin can. Far above the world! planet earth is blue and theres nothing i can do!"
I started it up and headed home but i went right away from earth but i thought it must be normal.

3: Something Wrong


????? ??? ?:??

I sat getting very far frm home and said to m self, " Although im passed one hundred thousand miles, im feeling very still! And i think my spaceship knows which way to go.. Tell my wife i love her very much... she knows..."

( Back at GC ) " Ground controll to Major tome your circutes dead theres something wrong! can you here me Major Tom? can you here me Major Tom? can you here me Major Tom? can you here...?"

" And im sitting in my tin can... Far above the moon... planet earth is blue and theres nothing i can do....."
