Introduction
Overall Book Concept
The philosophy described in this book is rooted in ancient Asian forms of energy work such as qigong (pronounced βchee gongβ) and yoga that I have learned from my many years of study and practice. It is also rooted in the philosophy of the Law of Attraction. Those who are familiar with the Law of Attraction will find the βLaw of Attraction Connectionβ sections useful, however, it is not necessary for you to be familiar with the subject in order to understand this book. This book is fully comprehensive in itself. It is also not necessary for you to be familiar with qigong or yoga. You can still grasp the material easily.
In this new millennium, a paradigm shift is occurring as to the nature of disease and health. This paradigm shift is due to our understanding of energy. Absolutely everything in the universe is energy. Remember Einstein's equation E=mc2? This is another way of explaining that all is energy. Despite the fact that many people are familiar with the formula, few people realize its important implication. I feel that in the near future this concept will begin to seep its way into the common language of most people and people will begin to explain life in terms of energy. This book is written with that belief in mind. All is energy and we must learn to utilize and recognize this energy in order to impart a state of well-being on to ourselves.
I have written this book to help guide you in discovering the world within you and the world around you as energy. It is a process of discovery and a fun one, if you allow it to be. If you are already familiar with the concepts of energy, then this book may help to clarify some areas. If you are not familiar, then you will find the perspectives introduced, at the very least thought provoking.
Feel free to explore the many great authors who have written on the subjects of qigong, yoga and other forms of energy work in greater detail. I have written this book in a very simplistic, easy and general format to make the concepts very understandable. My philosophy is to keep it simple so that you can spend the time learning the powerful energy that lies within you.
Many of the concepts are repeated in this book for reinforcement. I have also included some information and charts in the Appendix for you to use. These charts will serve as a way to simplify your understanding.
The meditation presented in this book with a few modifications, have now been recorded on DVD. The DVD is available for sale at http://www.seekwithinyou.com/store. At the end of the DVD, you will find a 30-minute guided meditation.
