POWWOW

I was a Powwow- a Priest and also a man of medicine and dreams. I dreamt beyond my adrenal demands. I felt excited to plunge in others private worlds. I was against certain idiotic norms like chastity belts, chains, ties and knots and also wars, treating of women like a chattel. But my most loving subject was war for which I had developed hatred. ..It always ached like rotten teeth and I wanted to extract it for ever. For that I had antique pot luck as solution in my hand and wanted to use gun-powder as medicine. Ha…Ha..Ha…!

JOB

That was perhaps the most important day in the life of Paulo the writer, when his retired father took him to the Chief Wild and Forest Conservation Officer for β€˜any patty job’s as his age of government service was going to be expired and after that there was β€˜no chance in life’ to have a settled career. The CCF offered him a permanent job of a cheetah (ACIONIX) in the zoo, lying vacant since long as the species was extinct from Asia. The officer also assured him that nobody would question his integrity in the cage till retirement.

FORECAST OF AN OWL

The Care-taker having gift of omen reading through birds was passing across the cage of the Barn Owl of Zoo in twilight and heard from its black tongue that all the birds in Zoo would perish by midnight mystic air. Believing in the forecast, he unlocked every cage and liberated the birds …yet one pregnant pheasant could not fly whom he had to give support of his soft hand to seek exit…By that time death visited the Zoo and took away the Care-taker indiscriminately .Next morning nobody could guess what happened to the Zoo and the Care-taker?
