. My name is Venus , and I was born May 29, 2012. I am one of five puppies Of Mulan and Jack Bensinger. I have two brothers named Micheal and Bones, and two sisters named Mushi and Rumor. Micheal was the first born and I the second, but I was the first to hit all the puppy-hood milestones including getting attached to a human. Mushi is my favorite sibling, and I am hers. Although I don't know why I'm her favorite because when we play I tend to get too rough and hurt her.

When I opened my eyes I met these three human girls who went by the names Cris, Justine, and Faith. I liked them but I didn't love any of them. A few days after that I met a nice black-clad human girl named Sylvia, and she is the one I fell for. I knew that I didn't want her to leave, I wanted her to stay with me and my family. Unfortunately for me after that day I didn't see her again for three whole days. Just as I was about to give up hope of ever seeing the girl I loved so much, I heard a strange knocking sound. When I looked to where the noise was coming from I saw her, staring at me with adoring eyes. That moment I realized that she loved me too. After that day she came too see me every day.

When ever that wonderful girl came to visit me she wold pick me up, smile, kiss my head, and put me back down so I could play. When she did these things even though I loved it my Mommy and Daddy would jump up on her and growl at her, they never tried biting her but growling was enough to make me upset. Mommy and Daddy didn't growl at her any other time just when she first picks me up, any other time they just want her to give them attention. I love my parents a lot but Sylvia is mine and not theirs, but they don't care how I feel. She usually sends them away when I 'm napping she says she wants me to sleep and not be interrupted by my rude parents.

One day after my first shot, which hurt a lot by the way, I was taken in this large thing they called a β€œcar”. I looked outside but everything moved so fast I couldn't really see anything, so I just settled down in Sylvia's lap. After a few minutes we stopped and shut off the car. I was then picked up and whisked off inside an unfamiliar house. Once inside I was taken up a flight of stairs and taken into a small room. I was set down and told that this was my new home but not to get too used to it because we would soon be heading back. After a few minutes I was given a stuffed rabbit to play with, I loved it because it smelled just like her. I was then taken back to my family and I got to keep the rabbit. That was the first night I got to spend with my beloved Sylvia.

The next day Sylvia had to leave which made me very sad, although later that day she came back and we went and walked back to the house she called home. She did all the walking, I just sat bewildered in her arms. I saw, heard and smelled so many new things. When we finally reached the house I met three new humans named Becky, Drew, and Seven. I liked the and they all seemed nice, but then I met Ginger the house cat. We had a cat back at my house and his name was Al and he was very nice to us even when we pulled on his tail. Ginger was the complete opposite, I was on the other side of a long room and she hissed at me. It was plain to see she was used to being an only pet. She was scolded for hissing, but that didn't stop her from doing it again. I went back home shortly after seeing as I didn't seem welcome there.

When we were about five weeks Mom stopped feeding us I think it was because we all had teeth by that point so we ended up hurting her. Soon after she stopped feeding us at all, but by then we all were eating solid foods. Cris said that since Mom was so aggressive with us that it would be good idea if we went to our new homes early. So because Bones and Rumor had already been picked out by other families, they were taken away from us. I hope they are happy in their new homes, because I miss them still. Sylvia waited another week before taking me home permanently.

That night I cried a lot be cause I missed Daddy and Mommy, even though she was kind of mean to us, I just wanted to go back and see them. The next morning when Sylvia woke up I got special food which was different from what I had gotten in the past, I quickly ate it all leaving the bowl with only the smell of the delicious food. The rest of that day was spent playing with Sylvia, Becky, and my new toys, which tasted like chicken. The next day Sylvia took me on a walk, once again she did all the walking, back to the place I previously called home. Getting to see Mommy and Daddy again was wonderful we all played outside just like we used to. Unfortunately we had to leave, but we came back the next day and every day after that.

I love my new home but I also love my old home, my new family of humans, a ferret and a mean cat are awesome. Ginger has mellowed out, but she still smacks me around. She has never hurt me just scared me a lot. Me and the ferret, Slinkey, play all the time and we both get rough so I don't feel so bad when I hurt her because she does it right back to me. My new family is a little strange but they are great, and I have been living here for a little over two weeks.

I am Sylvia's little goddess, and she is my master. I love her more than any one, if something happened to her I have no idea what I would do. She always tells me I have changed her life for the better, and I feel the same way
