One hundred words, that's how many lines? I keep glancing at the word count at the bottom of the
screen. What only twenty two? Wow is this ever hard, what to write, or more to the point how to write
a whole story with one hundred words.
What makes it worse is the topic.
Pick a topic any topic and I bet I can write one hundred words easy.
But leave it open ended as this is, and what to write about? How best to pick a topic and get across a
meaning with one hundred words? One hundred words.

Why did you go, why did you commit to the deed?
I had to go, there was a need

.
Why did you go, why couldn't you stay?
I had to go, they couldn't keep me away.

Why did you go, why couldn't others have left?
I had to go, but in my heart you are always kept.

Why did you go, when there was so much left unsaid?
I had to go so you wouldn't become one of the dead.

Why did you go? Now you are dead.
I had to go so you could lie safe in your bed.

Ghost girl
Do you see me, the ghost girl sting behind you as you walk down the hall?
Do you see me when my face falls?
Do you see me standing behind you as you talk on the phone?
Do you see me sitting all alone?
Do you see me, the girl just trying to fit in?
Do you see me the girl who just wants a friend?
Do you see me trying not to cry?
Could you see if you tried?
Do you see me, the ghost girl, pretending not to care?
Do you see me, do you dare?
