My name is luna, it kind of fits with what I am, I really became what I was in 1678...
I was always a sickly child and nobody expected me to live but it was different times then and lets just say the medical area wasn't that good. I was always pale, colourless like glass and I had pale white hair which was once blonde. But nobody understood what I was, it's hard to say what I was then but moden name for it is werewolf, I think. I also looked different too, I had white silverish hair which was long and silky and amber eyes that glittered at night. I have been holding off what I was hence the reason why I was sick, but I would be killed if anyone truly knew what I was. You always hear the same stories that you become a werewolf by being bitten by one but where did the original one came from? Me. I was actual born a wolf in 1672 but for some reason I turned human and was found by a rich merchant who's young girl had just died. I was adopted but I wasn't meant to be in human form at all, It was just some freak accident but I got sicker and weaker. At night I would stay in bed awake unable to sleep so slept during days.
Flashback...
I stirred in my bed, the covers felt like they were squashing me, I attempted to kick it off but I couldn't. Leaning to the side, I rang the little silver bell to call the slaves, the noise was high and ringing piercing my ears with it's annoying sound. Anika, my personal slave came in, her plain black hair was tied in a bun, some hairs already sticking out. Her brown eyes were in a slight frown because she was wondering what was wrong. Her unform was clean, a plain black cotton dress with a white apron but she had the cleanest job which was to care for my needs.
" can you pull the egyption cover off? It's too heavy." She nodded her head and scurried over quickly pulling it down to the end of the bed. The bed was beautiful, golden covers twirled with pink, the colour of roses. A slight aroma of roses and lavender could be smelt in my room, the long curtains were closed making the room dark, the curtains were long, golden pink like blocking all daylight out. She stood there waiting for another demand to be made but I just wanted company since there was nothing for me to do or anyone to talk to. I patted the plump stool next to my bed and motioned for her to sit but her reply was paniced. "sorry miss but I can not be idle, I'm a slave it's my job to work," I looked at her disapointed, making my eyes water and gave her the sad puppy eyed look. " please, you won't get into trouble, I just want some company,"
She sighed, giving the sigh 'chores over miss lunas inappropriate demands that can get me into trouble anyday' She walked over and sat down, instantly relaxing and smiling. My parents looked down at slaves but I didn't I believed they were the same as us even if they may looked differently. " can you tell me the story about the tribe again?" She smiled and nodded. It was a story she had told me before to stop me wailing when I had a meltdown thats how she became my slave...
I was about two, I screeched my screams wailing down the hall, my nanny tried to calm me down but singing, attempting to be funny and trying to bribe me but nothing worked. I laid on the floor, in the middle of an important dinner party and I was disturbing the guests. I carried on kicking my legs, my little blue silky dress spreaded on the floor. Anika was stood by the doorway, she was a kitchen slave but she had heard the noise, I think everyone had. She did a thing which could have got her punished but she came over picked me up and began to rock me and sing. I stopped crying, so she put me in my nanny's arms but I started to screech again. My father motioned for her to take me upstairs and thats how it happened.
Anika smiled and patted my hand, if that had been any other child they would have moved away in digust and had the slave flogged but anika was special, I hated the way slaves were treated. They aren't the freaks, we are for the cruel ways we treat them only because they are different on the outside. She began to tell the story...
Once there was a man, he was a brave warrier and fierce. His name was rudi, he was tall, strong and everything a man was supposed to be. But he was always a mystery, he disppeared at night and was find in the strangest of places at sunrise, he always kept to himself and ignored the tribes finest women. Many were frightened of him because they had heard of how he fought, with an animalistic rage. But when the moon was high, a fog rolled in and it was nothing like the tribe had seen. Out of the redened fog appeared an unknown creature, its fur stained a dark red, the reek of rotting flesh filled the village and death was felt. It wasn't a lion, it wasn't any creature they had seen, eyes red and stood tall like a man. It's figure was twisted, a crooked back, thick musculer legs and arms. All along it's body was demonic signs, as if it had been ingraved into it's body. The night passed but nothing had happened but the second night, the fog rolled in again but it was a shade of blue, out of it came the most beautiful creature they had ever seen, but it was like nothing they had seen. They thought it was female and had come to tempt the warriers away, she had glittering white skin like precious stones, ice water coloured eyes. Her teeth were long and pointed, a long dress flowing in the light breeze and a smell of wild exotic spice and flowers filled the breeze almost tempting the men to chase after her But this time there wasn't a smell of death but of imortality. The tribe was worried, they offered a sacrifice, a beautiful young woman for the beast she was called smikka. The thrid night the fog rolled in again but it was a purple colour almost a grey lavender. At one side came the beast and the other the beautiful creature, who would have know the opposites would attract. The village was safe and nothing happened again but in the morning they saw rudi, hand in hand with a forgeiner but she had white skin and the water coloured eyes...
I smiled and then asked anika" so what was rudi? and the girl? and is the story old?"
She sighed and smoothed out her apron, shaking her head she said" I think rudi was a demon and the woman a different type of demon but some people say she was an angel but I don't really know and the story isn't that old actually there once was a man called rudi in my tribe before I was born but he left,"
I sat happy, but then the door opened. Monica walked in, she was a house maid but young, she told my parents everything bad I did and tried to get me into trouble. She looked shocked and ran off to tell my parents something. A few moments later, my mother and father came in. Mother was wearing a full length dress it was an ice blue, adorned with white lace and decorations. My father was wearing a black suit and tie. My mother face was pale, with dark blusher applied and lipstick which was a blood red. She shook her head but father looked furious.
" slave, is it true that you have been idle! OUT NOW!" he had raised his hand back as if he was going to hit her but then I cried out. Quickly climbing out of my bed and falling to the floor, I curled up into a ball and started to cry. Mother came over and picked me up in her arms gently rocking me, brushing my curly hair out of may face. " aw shhhhh, hon, don't cry," I cried louder. Anika came over and reached over as if to take me out of my mothers arms but mother jerked away from her and gave out a light hiss. Mother put me to bed and sent anika out, she sang to me until I fell to sleep.
I woke up, a burning sensation travelled through my whole body, my bones ached. The blazing pain continued and I cried out but it was the dead of the night. The windows were open, the curtains dancing along the chiling breeze. Both windows open, shinning brightly was the full moon, the burning pain continued, I felt strong but still was in agony. I rushed out to feel the coldness hoping it would relieve the pain, climbing down the blackened pipe, paint craked and poked my skin. My bare feet touched the evergreen grass which was wet with mildrew, the strands of grass tickled my feet but I was unable to ignore the burning pain that ran in my blood, made my bones ache and the world so distant. I began to run, it was torure, my bones felt like they were being twisted and broken out of place, my feet walked on rough ground. They bled from the sharp stones, thorns caught my nightgown which caused it to rip, my shredded nightgown blew behind me.
I ran and ran, causing wicked branches to catch at me, entwining me into a trap of branches, the trees had become close knitted and I was trapped. I fell to the ground sobbing, the pain wouldn't go away, I was trapped, a young boy started tredding towards me. Holding his hands out as if in surrender but his palms faced me, telling he wasn't going to hurt me. I had no idea what I looked like, but then I saw what he saw. Pulled into a pit of darkness then forced into a tight bound.
My dull ears...His dull ears heard rustling in the close trees, a young wild wolf was tangled in a web of branches was wimpering, she was a beautiful sight. White fur, soft as silk adorned her body, bright piercing eyes the colour of amber stared my...His way and pleaded for help. I...He took a step forward, holding my... his hands out showing no harm. I...he pushed the branches away then picked her up but then I realised his mistake.
I was in my own body, in the arms of this stranger but I was weak and my nature was to strike out at those who were near when I was vunnerable, in an uncontollable rage, I savagely bit him. He dropped me, howled in pain so I ran and ran away. I caught my paw on a stuck up branch then heard a sickening crunch, I tried to walk but I couldn't so I just limped along, I felt drained and awful so I curled up against a tree and fell into an eternal slumber. Sunlight rays shined on me, I slowly
