Tales of Enak

Tale number one;

A bloody rebirth.

It is a quiet night just like any other. My mind is blank and dull, nothing is happening. I look to my left and see nothing but death and destruction of the cities as far as was able to be seen. To my right I see nothing but peace, hope, love and happiness.

I look up and see a woman, bright and glowing skin, long black hair and red eyes. Her lips are plump and full, seductive and juicy. Her eyes shine like two roses, floating in a sea of white. she is beautiful.

But I look down and I see another girl, her skin clings to her bones, her eyes are pure yellow and glow every so softly. Her skin and hair are both pale white and sickly looking. Her fingers have grown several inches until they come to a taipered point. I sense trust coming from her.

Straight ahead of me appears me, an exact twin. Long red hair, green eyes, bony frame, glasses. No chest, no strength.. dying...

I step towards the first girl, a scent of evil came from her. I knew I could not trust her. As I step closer I see her skin is beginning to crack and break.

I turn towards the twin of me and the same thing is happening. Thin lines are appearing all over and she is breaking.

Finally I turn to the sick girl and there she stands as if nothing is wrong. Her skin is unbroken and as I look close I see a bump appear in her chest each time her heart beats. She smiles at me, revealing the pointed teeth of a demon. Soft clicks are heard as she holds out her hand to me.

I cautiously step forward and place my hand in hers. The other two girls shatter and I hear the sound of glass falling to the ground. A bright flash surrounds the area and I close my eyes. As I open my eyes again I see the future me is gone. My hand is still in the air, long fingers like claws that come to a taipered point.

I scream, screaming for everything that has happened to me. In my mind I see images, brutal images. I see people dying, a person in old fashioned armor is killing them all. The person has a mount, a large black battle stallion. The person takes off their helmet and lets it fall to the ground and I scream again.

It is me. The new me. I am sure of it though then she(I) had black hair and red eyes but I knew it was me. It is now that I realize that the one who emitted such a friendly aura has lied to me.

She has betrayed me so easily. A voice whispers in the wind;

''Enaaaaak..... Witch of this town... Enaaaaaaaak..."

I run towards the town that is burning and full of destruction and don't stop until I am there and in the midst of them. As I run by they scream and scream. People run and hide their children.

I stop and look around, men with pitchforks are coming near me. One gets to close. I begin to attack, using my claws as knives but as I attack the one another stabs me in the back, one of the prongs going through my beating heart.

I fall to the ground, my heart beginning to slow. Soon, I will be dead.

-Farmer's point of veiw-
As the demon attacks my friend I stab her in the back with my pitchfork. It is too late to save my friend but the demon will die as well. She is dead within seconds. We drag her cold body towards my friends house where we throw her inside and lock the door. Another pulls out a box of matches and sets the house on fire. The fire is a brilliant blue as it consumes the house and the demons body. she will not harm us any further.

-Enak's point of veiw-
The fire consumes my body and all I feel is the blistering pain. they have taken me for dead. Soon I am consumed by the flames and my body is being turned to ash, yet the more I burn the stronger I feel.

I am not yet dead.
