The End Has Come
All around me is darkness and death. I feel like I am the only sane one here in this world I can only describe as hell. Fires from buildings are the only light source around. The sun has gone black. Only I am here on this quiet ground. Nothing is here to be with me. I am alone and dying. All I must do is look and I see a corpse that has the face of complete terror. I am scared that this is my last day on this planet I called earth, home. As I limp around with my injured leg I can only feel like I am walking in circles somehow because everything looks the same. I fall and struggle to get up but can’t. I lie on the dirty ground waiting for death to come. I see Heaven open its gates and all my friends and family. I was the last one to leave the earth but I only feel like that was a dream now. Finally, I have died and am where I belong, Heaven.
