My name is Lucy Grady. I am seven years old. I am friends with every girl in my class except for one and her name is Sarah Saldin and I don't think she has any friends. My Mum can be so annoying sometimes because she arranged a sleep over with Sarah Saldin. I mean I could at least get to know her first!
Well I have just arrived at Sarah's house. It's quite nice actually. She has got a massive garden with a tree house in it. I keep asking her if we could go up the tree house but she always replies "I don't think Peter would be happy about that" I am not sure who Peter is because she does not have any brothers or sisters but I don't bother to ask. We played with Sarah's Brats dolls most of the time to be honest I got a bit bored. When it got dark (about 8) it was time to go to bed.
I was quite tired out bye playing with Sarah so I wanted to go to sleep but Sarah did not let me she said we have to wait until it's time. We wait for an hour just lying there until eventually she says it's time. So I go turn over to go to sleep but she says follow me and she put's her slippers and dressing gown on and goes down stairs and I follow her.
When I get down stairs I find her in the kitchen getting some bread and milk and then I follow her outside. We walked right up to the top of there long garden up to the tree house but we dont climb into it. She is trembling and then she says "Peter?" I look at her with weird eyes. What is she doing? "Peter?" she says again this time with a more nervous tone.
Then the door swings open. "Follow me but be quite" so I climp up with her and we enter the tree house. There are childs drawings scattered all over the floor of the tree house. Sarah puts the milk on a table in the corner of the tree house then we climb down again.
When we reach the bottom the wind blows and one of the pictures land on our feet and it's a picture of a man with a red face. "Oh no!" she said "Peter is angry he only likes white bread!" I don't know whether to giggle and find this funny because I don't find it funny, I am scared. I try to crack a smile but it does not not work. I belive her. For some strange reason this must be real . "We need to run now!" she said so we do. When we are running I feel breath on the back of my the back neck I am to scared to turn around.
We rush to bed and try to go to sleep. In the morning we act like nothing happened last night it's hard to do but we pulled it off. When I get home I told mum that I had a great time and would like to go again. Mum looks shocked but she arranges with Sarah's parents that it is ok. The reason I'm doing this is so I can free Sarah from this man in the tree house.
When I arrive we play as normal and try to pass the time until bed. When it's bedtime and when the clock strickes 9 pm we get out of bed ready to face Peter. We reach the top of the garden to the tree house. "How are we going to stop Peter?" I ask.
"Don't worry just do what I do" she says. We climb up to the top of the tree house and find it like it was before. Suddenly the door slams shut and we turn around and hanging from behind the door are little girls bodys!. We scream. Then we see a shadow of a man holding a knife. "It must of been the girls who drew these pictures" Sarah says. Suddenly she starts ripping up the pictures there is a scream from the girls hanging from the walls and the man. Then before we could finish ripping all the pictures up there is a strong wind and it blows the pictures away out of the window and are gone. Sarah gives me a massive hug and is crying "thankyou so much I am free!"
She has got more friends at school because now she is more social and she does not have to worry about the man in the tree house any more but be warned he might visit some other little girl!
