There once was a little girl, named Sarah, she was only eight years old. When she was born her dad had died. Her mom could not take care of her. She made a sign that said "ADOPT CHILD FOR FREE" After one week nobody said anything. So her mom took her to an adoption center, where they can take care of kids when their parents can't. She was so sad because, she knew that in just minutes her mom would'nt be with her any longer. She began to cry on the way there because of the obvesious. Her mom Brooke began to cry because Sarah was and because she was giving up her daughter that ment the world to her. And there was no other choice but, to do so. When the day getting dark, Brooke thought for a short remince second "Is it suppost to rain? Raining means that the angels above are crying..Is that a sign to keep Sarah?" It began to rain but, it was'nt just a "shower" it was a storm. It was very difficult for Sarah and Brooke to see out the car windows. Could anything else go bad besides giveing up your world? They were on a one way street going toward the center, and the worst you'd think happened, a car was coming right at them the wrong way. You'd think a reck would happen, but god pulled through and a cop was sitting right at the cornor and pulled that car over. Sarah and Brooke were safe for the moment.
They got to the adoption center. Brooke got out of the car and opend the door for Sarah.
"Baby girl remember something for mommy....I love you Sarah, but you know why I had to do this. Right?"
"I don't understand mommy, I can live with you, and..and...and I can get a job I don't want to go!"
"Honey your only eight you can't get a job i'm sorry honey. Do something though, any questions that people ask you ansewer them honestly honey ok?"
"Ok mommy"
They started walking toward the door in the rain. They opened the door into the lobby Sarah went and sat down with her teddybear, her mom got her, laced in her arms. A tall, adverage size man came into the lobby and introduced himself.
"I'm Nick Anderson, but you can call me Nick. I'm the guy who does the assesing" (reaching for Brooke's hand to formally introduce himself. Then reaching for Sarah's hand)
"Hi! I'm Sarah"
"Brooke I need to take Sarah and go talk to her..ok?"
"Thats fine"
Nick took Sarah into a room that was child developed and kid friendly.
"Sarah i'm going to ask you some questions if thats ok"
"Sure"
"Sarah how old are you?"
"Eight"
"Do you go to school?"
"Um......no"
"Oh well, have you ever gone to school?"
"Yes"
"Do you ride in the back seat, and wear a seatbelt?"
"Yes I do"
"Thank you for talking to me Sarah, you were a big help"
"Your welcome"
Nick went and found Brooke in the waiting room with her head buried between her legs.
"Brooke?"
"Yah?"
"Is Sarah's dad still in her life?"
"No he died when she was two"
"I'm sorry to hear that"
"Thank You"
"Brooke are you sure you want to put her up for adoption?"
"Yes I'm sure"
"You do realize you won't see her for the rest of her life right?"
"Yes but, it's the best choice for my little girl."
Nick went and got a contract-agreement paper for Brooke too sign. He marked a place where she was to sign. He handed her a stack of paper's to fill out.
Twenty minutes passed and Brooke was done with the papers. She handed them back to Nick.
"Can I see Sarah one more time please?"
"Sure"
"Sarah, I love you, you mean the world to me honey i'll miss you baby girl have fun.....Don't forget me honey"
"Mommy, I love you too don't worry I won't forget about you....bye"
