Street royale

Prologue

A company called โ€œLeightonx.coโ€ runs many industries. It is also a huge political influence. The government is highly corrupt. Many people who used to government officials had been found dead recently.

The government only had one problem: they couldnโ€™t kill any high rep people. They had now came up with a plan to eliminate any leaks.

The story begins in a small neighborhood where Jeremy lives.

The story

Jeremy walked outside to his luscious green grass. The sun beamed down onto his bold head.

Children played on bikes around the street, caused a sweet tear to dribble down his rosy cheeks. He sipped his cuppa as he enjoyed nature.

When suddenlyโ€ฆ

The ground began to tremble! Kids cried as their mothers hurried them inside. Huge helicopters dropped titanic walls around the street.

The anxious fathers ran out with antique guns. Jeremyโ€™s delicious tea spilt. He became enraged.

The men shot countless rounds of ammunition into the behemoth structure. No holes. No dintโ€™s. Not even a scratch. As some confused men investigated; electric waves circulated from the wall into their bodies.

A gigantic monitor appeared out of nowhere and a man was displayed on it. โ€œwelcome to street royale,โ€ the man intimidatingly said. โ€œI would advise you to not hit the wall. But have fun!โ€

As the monitor returned to the outside world, the man giggled. Jeremy returned to his advanced house and punched a big red button labeled:

โ€œlockdownโ€

The house clicked before all the doors and windows where temporarily replace with a thick steel sheet.

He walked to a dark room filled with guns. He browsed through the library until he picked a suppressed AR-15. Once he left the room, the key card triggered a red bleep on the scanner and a metal wall slid across.

Jeremy knew that the government would eventually do something like this, In attempt to eliminate all leaks. For over 7 pain taken years, he had prepared for the inevitable. Preparation cost more than ยฃ1 million. Which he got help from Leightonx.co.

He returned to brew another cuppa. After finishing his masterpiece, a loud bang emitted from the door. Jeremy trotted to a room full of monitors and watched as a man grabbed a child and continued to beat her.

He couldnโ€™t stand to witness the atrocity. After switching a few switches, a distraction distracted the man. He ran too the basement and opened a hatch.

โ€œCome down here, quicklyโ€ he insisted. She slid down the hatch and onto a red carpet. The man turned around to see the girl had gone and tried kicking the hatch open.

He electrified the hatch and the man lost interest. The girl had bruises and gashes, covering her entire body. Jeremy got her some hot chocolate and biscaits.

He picked a remote up and put a kid show on. When he returned to binge watching the cameras, he noticed the man was heading to another house where a child lived.

He grabbed his AR off the floor and headed too the roof. Their he opened another hatched and stealthily peered through it. Seconds later, his lifeless body fell to the ground.

The kids in the house screamed but Jeremy could rest knowing the man didnโ€™t do anything to hurt them. He constantly flicked through the cameras until he fell asleep.

Meanwhile, in a courtroom Leighton was arguing about what the government did to the neighborhood and to allow a tactical team to rescue him. They rambled on for a few more hours until an assassin attacked Leighton.

Stunned he whispered to his earpiece โ€œopp, pick upโ€ฆโ€

Back in the traumatized street, people began to relise it wasnโ€™t a survival test it was a battle royale. More people took to the streets. Multiple houses lit on fire.

An alarm bellowed through the house signaling that the house had been breached. He was shocked something got through the defenses. He ran down stairs to the basement and he seen the girls body with a bullet in her head.

Standing behind her was an old co-worker. Without mercy he fired a bullet in her leg. He ran outside and jumped as he tapped a button. The house blew up.

Taking half the street with it. A shard of metal was stabbed in his ankle. He ferociously limped to a house where the doctor lived. His body was in the garden with a revolver in his hand.

He ran through and searched the drawers until he found pain killers and antibiotics. He took the pills quickly and tried to take the shard out of his leg.

On the table lay some biscuits. He devoured them and walked outside.

Back in Leightonx.co office building, Leighton received news that his helicopter had been shot down. As he walked to a desk an alarm went off as the entire building crumbled. A plane had hit it.

Everyone knew the government did it. On Ranter people sent sympathy rants to Leighton. A riot had begun outside the parliament buildings.

When Jeremy walked back to his house, 4 people started firing. Jeremy fired but was under powered. Jeremy took the pin off a grenade and threw it.

He then did the same to 2 other grenades. Those who ran; blew up. Those who stayed; blew up. The one who stupidly charged; you guessed it blew up.

Nobody was alive in the street. Only Jeremy. The walls crumbled down to the ground and fireworks penetrated the atmosphere.

Jeremy turned his phone on to see the destruction. He ran to a random motor cycle and dropped a thick stack of cash behind him. He drove to the city and pushed past firemen.

He climbed the stairs and when he found Leighton he put him on his back. He ran down the stairs and handed the unconscious body to the ambulance people.

The end.
