About

Hello, in this book there will be various short writings of courses I'm taking to improve my writing and as well as helping me get started. There are a few things I'd like to go over before you actually begin reading and taking a look at my samples.

I'm half Korean and it is my first language, so it took me a lot longer to learn English due to the fact that my father was always gone and was unable to speak it as well as teach it to me. My mother took it into her own hands and learned English first before teaching me and she's a wonderful teacher. I was able to learn quite a lot in 4 years and completed and even signed a certificate my mom had made just last summer (it stated that i completed english with her). Lately we've ran into financial problems as well as debt and so I decided to actually write stories and make a small amount of cash. I know there are many writers out there and my chances are slim of being noticed without "networking," but that doesn't scare me.

I'm also a pixel artist and I can design covers for my books thank you very much, but sometimes I can get to be lazy or rather don't have the time to do it. I live in a two story building, the bottom/first floor is where we have a bakery shop that isn't that well known, but business has been fairly well. It always smell wonderful things in the second floor because of the bakery shop underneath of course! Upstairs we have 3 rooms and a kitchen as well as a powder room (small bathroom in this case) and we had to install a shower room so that was a lot of money.

Um, life is quite well I suppose and I spend most of my time downstairs either helping cooking the tasty and cute designed pastries, cashier work, busgirl, and occasionally have time on my own to get on my cheap laptop and do what my heart desires. I actually tend to work downstairs and make small conversations with our customers as well as the regulars whom are really nice and have made a deep impression upon my mom.

When I grow older I DO NOT want to be a writer, I just don't see it as something I'll do. I plan on going into engineering, arts and maybe crafts, medical stuff, or possibly the army if it comes to it.

Thanks for reading about me and hope you like the samples, I update whenever I have time but something new for sure every week. I like updating in batches, so I might have parts 1-3 uploaded and etc. ^^

Three Elements PART 1 of 44

Where is it? She clawed the ground, fingertips digging into the dirt. She dragged herself to the nearest park bench before enabling herself to sit on it. Her clothes were ragged and torn up to the point where it was useless to even wear it anymore. She groaned inwardly, she had lost the ring Neil had given to her today...was it possible to lose a ring while running away from a sinister figure in the alleyway? She shivered as the small breeze began to pick up, she exhaled and inhaled shaky breaths before hearing the sound of crunching leaves. Goose bumps traveled along her arms as she began rubbing them furiously, hoping the friction would warm her up. She was alert as the crunching stopped.

She was just about to get up and leave, but it was too late as the shadowy stranger appeared right in front of her. His silver hair blew lazily and his sharp deep icy eyes stared into her honey brown ones. She just knew it was that stranger in that alleyway. His profile was sleek and manly, he wore an expensive looking tuxedo with one hand in his pocket while the other twiddled around with her lapels. How in the world did he get so close to her? "Hello dear Marie." He spoke rather sweetly. He then carressed her cheeks leaving her in a shock, a small gasp escaped from her lips as he began to give her- a hug?

Completely thrown off Marie tried pushing the stranger off her, but he wouldn't give in. He adjusted his tuxedo before sitting down next to her with a megawatt smile that left her breathless. He was indeed attractive even though he looked dangerous and five years older than her. He began to speak again, "I heard...you were proposed." It seemed he was asking more than stating it, but Marie reluctantly replied. "Well yes, but unfortunately he...had to go back to work for an emergency." She spoke quietly as she remembered seeing him with Neil the day before yesterday at the Las Vegas 5 star hotel they were staying at. She couldn't trust him with the truth though seeing how he had stalked her earlier.

He grinned before standing up in a boisterous mood, "Well I might as well be on my way, see you next time beautiful." He said before walking off. Marie was perplexed and focused on him as he turned a corner only to disappear out of sight. Letting out a relieved sigh she then hailed for a taxi cab, she definitely needed a good night's sleep.

Not even three hours later was Marie sleeping in her small apartment. The balcony windows were open letting a cool breeze in and before she knew it she had woken up. She looked around sleepily, it was already 8:00AM, groaning she stood up and stretched before carefully making her way towards the extremely small kitchen. The granite counters were very pretty and many had complimented her, but today wasn't her day apparently. She noticed something moving and it left shivers up on her spine, instead of taking a better look she grabbed the fly swatter from the laundry room. Prepared to kill the insect she almost cried out before dropping the fly swatter and clasping her hands to her mouth, stifling a high pitched scream.

There crawled an insect...no an arachnid, a spider to be precise. It was quite large with a very hairy body and brilliant patterns flashing. She gulped before slowly moving backwards and was about to call 911 when her lovely fiancee Neil appeared-her knight in shining armor. "Hey, where were you last night Marie?" He asked curiously before actually looking at her. He frowned as he saw her as her face shows undeniable shock and anxiety. "Babe?" But still Marie didn't say a word as she stared at the crawling beast as it head towards the sink.

Three Elements PART 2 of 44

Today's Valentine's Day, which meant women get chocolates right? Lucy sighed before hefting the large duffel bag over her shoulder. She walked rather riggedly to the elevator of the motel that was staying at for the moment. The awkward silence between herself and a family grew until the elevator doors open releasing the both of them from the tense atmosphere. It was quite dingy and the hallways were really echoey. She went to the staircase, clambering on top of the steps in a steady motion. She then finally made it to the roof top, she grinned before dropping the duffel bag as it's content slipped out.

A knocked out ex-enemy came into Lucy's view as she bit her lower lip in excitement. She then grabbed him underneath the armpits before dragging him behind a reclusive tent that was towards the corner of the roof top. She took deep breaths as she heaved him into her private tent only to fall in with him. She groaned as her head knocked against the concrete. She rubbed her head vigorously before getting out of the tent with her binoculars.

Early that morning Lucy was stalking him and even hailed a taxi cab as he rode his BMW, it left her feeling jealous and determined to get her clutches snagged onto him. She figured she might as well get him today rather than tomorrow and besides that she was unable to pay her rent for the motel and so she ended up on top of the motel. Grinning from ear to ear as she heard him groaning she slowly took out her swiss knife before cautiously heading back towards her tent. Raising the deadly weapon high above her head she plunged it into the tent repeatedly!

Lucy was stronger than most women, her arms and legs were bulging with muscles! She thought she had killed him though, so she left in a rush. Throwing the swiss knife away and walked off, but she was terribly mistaken for he was still alive. The thing is Lucy isn't normal anymore after her ex-enemy had decided to leave her on the curb when she stopped giving him a purpose for him to go after her. Her lips curled in disgust as a rampant hobo began begging for cash. She slapped him hard before leaving, she really didn't give a care in the world.

The ex-enemy was Harold Vantino, a very scary billionare who wasn't afraid of anyone. He growled before getting up, throwing the tent over the roof top he glowered at the double doors to the stair case before making a run to it. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him while taking out his gun, determined to murder this despicalbe monster of the once sweet devil Lucy Henderson. Once upon a time he would have proposed to her until he found out what she really is.
