ths is not a book that goes like this : " and on this day the girl fell in love with this lovely hot guy" it goes a little more like this " in life there comes a time when you have to make one decision that will decide if you should take a curtain path or just live into what life makes you into..." This hunger that he experiences forces him to ride from one dusty town to another. The pain is overwhelming, though his memories of why and how elude him. All he knows is he needs to eat and the next town is three days from here.
