Realistic Toys, and the Danger Thereof by Wayne Webster (best ereader under 100 TXT) 📕

It is our responsibility as gun enthusiasts to make sure that we can do all we can to prevent innocent children being shot and killed because they were innocently playing with a realistic looking toy gun!

Lets face it, what kid does not love to play Cops and Robbers, or Cowboys and Indians? I can remember growing up as a kid that was one of my favorite pastimes, we could run around aim and shoot our cap guns at kids and adults alike, and the adults would play along to!

But— times have changed! The world is a vastly different place from when I grew up, nowadays it is not uncommon to see a 12 year old equipped with an AK 47, and what’s worse, they know how too use them!

Toy manufacturers have also not helped with the problem, some harmless toys are so realistic looking that it is almost impossible to distinguish between them, the result —- innocent children being shot and killed by authorities and bad guys alike! Some states, and even countries have banned the sale of these toys because of the related homicides.

This is an example of a water pistol, way to realistic!

Some toy manufacturers are acting responsible and producing toys that look like toys, but lets face it, they are just not cool!

As such, their sales are nowhere near those who produce ones that look, and sometimes even sound like the real thing.

I am still for it, allowing children to play such games, but the rules of the game have changed.

Parents and adults have to be more responsible, and make sure that the environment that they are playing in is safe to do so. We also need to teach them that it is not “cool” to point a toy gun at someone who they don’t know, and who is not part of the game! We also need to teach them that they cannot play with these toys if we are not aware on it.
