Author's e-books - gang. Page - 1
After the field trip to the Surface Patrol, Jafarr gets confronted by the local gang who had been harassing him for quite a while. But that is the least of his worries as in his training under his father as a repairman in the Middlecity, he comes under the attention of the People's Military--the very people whose attention he was hoping to avoid.
Roddy Mayhem, a fifteen year old half-imp who had been abandoned by his mother at birth, pretty much figured that life sucked--but he was going to make the best of it. Living homeless on a California beach, surving on petty theft and imp abilities, Roddy prefers it to joining the Unseelie Gang--a group of punk half-imps who want nothing more than to ingratiate themselves to the Unseelie Court and with the favor of Queen Maeve. But the gang wants him and his gifts and won't let him get away.
This chapter is told in the view of Cabott Winston. Cabott is a thought driven character with a passion for nature and paper cap making. He constantly visits a nearby forest, just to see the sights. He is stunned at the fact that a factory, just the opposite, could be so close to something beautiful. Meanwhile, Martin follows Cabott's mother, Rain. Cabott remains oblivious for the longest time. Martin is hopelessly in love with Cabott's mother, he has been all along. Martin can't wait to get in
