Blake Carson was a hated person. Him being different because of his violet eyes is the cause of all the hatred from everyone. But when he was sent to a Juvenile Detention Center for beating someone almost to death, he realizes that being there is no different than being at home or school. He will always think of himself as a hated, unloved, broken boy. But when a girl from a gang shows up, she feels drawn to him. Seeing how broken he is, she does everything she can to make him feel loved.
