Today was my grandfather's birthday. He would have been 94, and knowing him, still enjoying life to its fullest. After hearing one of his favorite songs on the radio, my mind drifted back to a conversation we had just before Alzheimer's took control of that dear, sweet man. Come sit with me by the old swimming hole, as I revisit that summer of 1997 in this soliloquy, of sorts.

In a village,in India, a woman loses the love of her life and realizes that living alone is still extremely difficult even in these times.....

This book was found in a vent in a old mansion down crater lane. The book was titled "Hope's Diary" the room which it had been found in was the only room in the house that was dusty. The old couple who own the mansion say they never went in there because the door was locked. The boy who found the diary said the door just opened...it doesn't matter find out what you think this is about by reading "Hope's Diary".

.....it is only when we hear on the radio that rain is expected to return- that I begin to change and my wife starts to prepare the bedroom for a rainy day.
