This poem I wrote about two years ago, for my English homework. It was supposed to be horror, but I couldn't just let my character die, so I mixed some romance in here as well. Here's what came out of it. Hope you enjoy.
Thud, my shoulder hit a wall as I ran. I grimaced but kept running. I have to keep running, donβt stop, DONβT STOP! Heβll catch me if I stop! My feet pounded on the ally floor. Each time one of my feet hit the ground I felt pain shouting though my body, making my legs stiff and sore. I kept running. As I ran I looked around desperately for a place to hide, tears rolled down my cheeks, desperation and pain twisted my mind into dizzy confusion. I pushed the tears away. This is no time to cry,
I've been some what bullied through my life and this book is for any body who has gone through the same emotional experience. Lyra is just an ordinary girl. She has gotten striaght A's through out her teenage life. but some how, people are critizing her about it. Rumors go around about her and some anonymous guy. Names are slinged around, slut, whore etc. The only thing that keeps her happy in her life is her bestfriend Jason, "Jay" Who she relies on and soon developes feeling for,
After the witness of a horrendous car accident on their road to home, the father and daughter take a short cut. This leads to their discovery of a strange town, cut off from the rest of the country. Soon questions unfold around this strange town, and when they find themselves unable to leave, father and daughter find themselves entwined in an adventure they had never dreamed of.
