CHAPTER 1 THE BEGINNING


The first computer was not even a computer it was a big machine that transmitted cards. The cards were put into the gadget and they had codes on them so it could read them. That was how they typed. Then, Bill Gates came along and invented Microsoft. This was a new way to transmit the cards. Then things started to pick up. Bill created a business to represent Microsoft. The computers
back then were not able to be purchased by people,and when they did come to stores anyway, only rich people could afford such a machine! When the people bought them
they would have to read a huge manual about it. What the
switches do, Where to put the cards, and alot of other things. People would not like to read all of these facts
so they would not buy them often.


CHAPTER TWO HOW IT HAPPENED


The computer was now going through its next stages. Manufactures were now coming up with different designs and processors. They now came up with the mother board. The mother board is one of the main parts to the computer. It stored information, ran the computer, and deposited wire slots. This was not applied to the computer till much later. Now companies were importing new parts to the computer. About ten years later they imported all the parts. But they needed a screen! So they came up with a glass layered screen but it needed
a code. The code was 1 and 2. Now thats all that makes up what you see on the screen. And the codes are made up of pixels. These make up the whole image that you will see.


CHAPTER 3 TODAY


Today computers help us with almost anything. Math, Spelling, Talking, reading, alot of medical needs. These are just a few things computers do. And now we have programs too. Programs Were not invented till the late 1980's. One of the first ones was " Paint Box " This was an editing program used to make commercials and TV shows. (file types were another thing such as wmv,ogg,jpeg,mpeg,mp4,mp3,avi,mov,psd,ai,) Today I use
computer programs such as Photoshop CS3, Adobe Illustrator, and a little of after effects. Computers helped people worldwide and touched our lives. computers are all around you TV, the computer your using now and Im sure more! Computers make a difference today..................................


CHAPTER 4 INTERNET


The internet was not invented till about the 1990's. Yet millions of people use it everyday. You need wi-fi to have internet. The wi-fi gives the internet network access. Then about 2 or 3 years later they came up with multiple internet browsers. Now the computer was almost complete. Now today there are more than 40,000 web sites so you have alot to choose from!!!(Fact: did you know that www stands for World Wide Web?)


CHAPTER 5 HTML DOCUMENTS


HTML stands for Hyper Text Multiple Layers. HTML is a computer language in computers that allows text to be on the page. Every website ever created has HTML at the end. For example: www.bookrix.com.html . Well its true you can check at any website and it will show it!! So, any website that has text on it has HTML on it.


Now I think all of us here has learned about computers......
