The Beginnings by Ian Emery (reading books for 6 year olds txt) 📕

/> “How do you not know?”
I write, “I felt anger and sadness and so many other emotions, I just…”
“Oh so your power isn’t fully controlled and only comes out when your emotions get out of control.”
I shrug my shoulders. He gets up out of his chair. He walks over to me and pinches the back of my neck. It didn’t hurt but yet it didn’t feel good. It was like nothing happened but I still felt it. He then unties my feet. He motions for the door. I look at him and get up slowly. I walk for the door.
“Release the dog.” The man says.
I see Lacy come in to the room and I pick her up and walk out the door. There are guards pointing me in the right direction. I come to this door that says exit on it. I open it and the sun hits me in the face.
