I Looked out the window of the living room staring at the lake where my sister had dissapered just a year ago today. I sat there all day, watching, waiting, and hoping she would return. Nothing came and nothing went , everything stayed the same. Mom walked in
"Samantha, are you ok sweetie?"
"Do you think Lizzy will ever come home?' I asked
"Im not sure honey but i havent lost hope" Mom said with her voice getting sad
"I"ve just felt that Lizzy's not coming home. Like you know she's gone." I exclaimed , holding my tears back
" Well why dont you go to bed , clear your mind" Mom told me
I walked up the stairs to my room.I layed down looking at the ceiling. Images of the lake kept poping in my mind. "Had she drowned in the lake?" I asked myself. "Had She wandered off?" "No she couldn't have gotten lost she knows her way around"
I had never thought of Lizzy this much since her dissapernce. Maybe it was the day of October 23 that had me thinking. I started sobbing, I cryied and cryied until i heard a knock at my door. It was Ethan , i dried my tears and opened the door
"Hey do you have some... Have you been crying?" He asked
"No, Just A Little Tired"I Lied i wasnt tired at all i wanted to do was be back to the days when me and Lizzy sat on the grass outside talking and playing for hours.
"Sam , You Okay?"Ethan asked
What.. Oh ya what do you want?" I asked thinking that i had just drifted off into my own little world.
"Do you have any glue" He asked
"Seriously" I said walking to my desk grabing the glue throwing it at him and shutting the door. I went back to my bed and started crying again and eventually falling asleep.
The next morning i woke up to screaming, i ran downstairs to see my mom sitting on the couch crying.
"Whats wrong?" I Asked
She pointed at the T.V. screen. I sat down next to her and started crying. The cops had found a rotted body over near the bank, someone had found something in the ground and tried to pick up and found the body. They identified the body as Elizabeth Shaw.I grabbed the remote and turned the T.V off as i ran to tell Ethan.
"Lizzy" I Yelled at him
"What about Lizzy?" He Asked
"The cops found her body buried over by the bank" I exlaimed. Ethan dropped the controller and started crying as well.
