Ava's POV:

Today's Saturday, and it insinuates one thing, No Training.

"Today's a good day," I smiled sheepishly and ducked back under the covers.

After an hour, I lazily got up and went inside the washroom, to do my labor. I swear, waking early in the morning, is tough labor. After changing into my favorite floral dress, I went downstairs. I went to the kitchen and grabbed a protein bar, as I was not feeling to have a proper breakfast.

Chomping on the protein bar, I went to the living room, to look for my phone. Last night, Fleur and I binge-watched our favorite and I left my phone in the living room. Looking around, I couldn't find it. Where is it?

"Looking for this," a voice said, and I quickly looked behind to see, Alpha Xavier standing there with my phone in his hand. He was a bare chest, and his upper body was glowing with sweat.

I squealed, my feet getting caught on the edge of the small rug, causing me to trip rearward. I closed my eyes, bracing myself for the hard impact, but nothing came.

Opening my eyes, I saw Alpha Xavier's hands curled around my elbow.

"Easy there, love," he said with amusement clear in his eyes. He gently pulled me up, to his chest.

I quickly stumbled away from him, creating a safe distance between us.

"You're back early,"? I asked, trying to avoid this embarrassing situation.

"It's 11:30, love," he said with a small chuckle.

"And, here I thought, I was up early today," I muttered taking my phone from him.

He chuckled and went away, not before ruffling my hair, making me freeze. What the fuck just happened?

Blinking a few times, I came out of my zonked state and went outside.

Today, was beautiful weather and I decided to go to the orphanage. Back at home, I would visit the orphanage every Saturday or Sunday, and spend my day with those adorable children. No matter your age, no one deserves to go through this disastrous chapter. The orphanage was on thirty minutes walk from the packhouse, it's owned by Alpha Xavier. I was shocked to my core by this unimaginable information from Fluer.

After thirty minutes, I reached the orphanage. The orphanage house is situated on the outskirts of the city. It's big, as much as a mansion. I was instantly greeted by a gorgeous lady in her 50s.

"Hello ma'am," She greeted politely.

"Hi, please call me Ava," I said while adjusting the bags in my hand.

"Let me give you a hand with this," She offered, helping me with the bags.

"I'm Karol," She introduced herself.

As I went inside, I was welcomed by the adorable smiling faces of little pixies. Tears welled in my eyes, seeing their smiling faces. They had to go through so much at such an adolescent age. Quickly, winking my tears away, I allocated the gifts that I brought from them and, ate the pizza with them.

After that, Karol gave me a tour of the orphanage, to say I was astonished would be depreciation. Everything was perfect here, the children were getting proper food and education. We all gathered in the big hall and played games like tug of war.

I was so engrossed in playing with the kids, that I didn't notice, how late it was. Quickly saying goodbye to them, I went towards the door, only to be held tightly by my feet. I look down to see, a small girl, around 4 holding my leg with her both small hands.

"Will you come back,"? She asked with teary eyes, and I saw a glimpse of 4-year-old Ava in her. Taking her in my arms, I hugged her tight.

"I will come back," I smiled at her.

"Promise," She held her tiny pinky finger to me.

"Promise," I wrapped my pinky around her and kissed her thumb.

Coming out of the orphanage house, I look at the sky, to see dark heavy clouds parading over my head. I started walking back to the pack house when it started pouring, and I ran.

Reaching the packhouse, I was wet to my toes, sneezing I went inside. Tiptoeing into my room, I sneezed again, my nose wrinkling and head shaking from the impact. I heard chuckling, and look up to see Alpha Xavier standing there, with his phone.

"What,"? I asked defensively.

"Never saw someone sneeze before,"? I asked sarcastically.

He smirked and came closer to me. I took a step back, but he didn't stop coming toward me. I gasped when my back hit the wall behind me. He put both his hands on either side of me, caging me. I look into his eyes, to saw, that he was already staring at me intensely. My body shuddered at our close approximately. He bends down and whispered.

"Never saw anyone this adorable before," he whispered and I gasped when his lips touched my earlobe. My heart started thumping wildly. No matter how bad he has hurt me, I still love him. But, I will never let him play with my heart and self-respect again. Placing my hands on his chest, I gently pushed him away. He pulled back and sighed.

"Love," he sighed frustratedly and looked away.

"Can we talk, please," he asked.

"About,"? I asked, knowing very well what's he talking about.
