Episode One "Reincarnated"

“You died,” A godly being told me.

“I… what?” I asked.

“You died in your sleep!”

“I did?” I questioned him. My mind couldn’t wrap around being dead. I took a look around the heavenly space full of clouds and noticed that there wasn’t anything aside from him and the six feet and muscular God who wore a scruffy beard. “What’s going to happen to me now? And who are you?”

“My name is Wraith, an Arc God. Today, I will let you decide; either reincarnate into your past world with new memories or transfer to a new world with your memories intact.” Wraith declared.

“I will only keep my memories if I’m transferred?”

“Yes, if you choose to reincarnate then you won’t keep your memories,” Wraithtold him.

“Then I choose to be transferred!” I declared.

“Now, I will grant you the power to survive in this new world. Choose three skills and a class.”

“Skills? Class?” I muttered, puzzled.

“Oh, that’s right. You’re being transferred to a world filled with magic and swords.”

“If this world is filled with magic and swords, then there must be a hero and a kingdom as well as demons and other monsters. I don’t want to stand out, so definitely not a hero. Merchant? Don’t feel like traveling and it would be straining my heart to deceive people. Commoner? I don’t want to deal with arrogant nobles and irritating neighbors. Farmer? I don’t want to deal with taxes and the heat. Miner? I would be in cooler climates and distance myself from others. It will be a lot of manual labor, but it beats working out in the heat and dealing with arrogant higher-ups.” I thought out loud, whispering to myself.

“Can I get the miner class?” I asked Wraith.

“Uh… if that’s what you choose then I will grant your wish. I will give you three skills relating to your class, 'Healthy Body', 'Super Strength', and 'Ore Detector'. Healthy Body will maintain your body and prevent it from getting infected by diseases and sickness. Super Strength will allow you to have immense strength to protect yourself and work in harsh conditions as a miner. Ore Detector will give you a sixth sense that detects any nearby ores, which is essential for your class.” Wraith informed me. “Now it’s time to send you to the new world. If you have any questions for me, then go to a church that’s worshipping me. Pray to a statue of me and I will appear.

“Thank you, Wraith,” I said while shaking his hand. He wished me a new fulfilling life before my vision went white. A minute later, I woke up in front of the entrance to a cave.

Episode Two "Tattered Girl"

Recap:

Kristian died in his sleep, transferring to heaven where he met with Wraith. He was then given a choice--be reborn in Earth without his memories or be transferred to a new world full of magic and swords with his memories intact. He picked the new world of magic and swords and a strange choice of class, miner class. He then appears at the entrance of a mine, ready to live a new peaceful life.

Mining equipment surrounded me. A pickaxe that laid to my right glowed brightly. I picked it up and swung it around, the weight being lighter than I expected. I looked to the other side of me and grabbed the mining cap and suit, putting on it. A minecart sat on rails that led into the mine. I peeked into the mine, looking at the dark insides. I don’t know what kind of monsters were hiding in this cave or the depth of the mine.

I turned the light on the mining cap on before I began venturing deeper into the cave. The deeper I ventured, the colder it became. I then heard a shout and snarling coming from a deeper part of the cave. “I shouldn’t go farther than this, I’ll start mining around here,” I whispered to myself. I picked up my pick and started cutting through the mine’s walls, hitting through the cement-looking walls. I then heard a “thud” sound coming from a deeper part of the cave. “Whatever, it must have been some monsters or something.” I continued to pick my way through the way, detecting a small ore built into the wall. Another “thud” sound echoed off the walls, but it was much louder. I turned away from the wall and towards the deeper part of the mine that went downwards. “I should check it out,” He whispered. More “thud” sounds echoed off the walls, pushing me to quicken my pace and find the origin of the sounds.

Once I found the origin, I noticed that a goblin creature was fighting a female teen, around my age, with torn clothing and wielding a dull sword, which didn’t resemble a sword. Her blood dripped down her legs while more gushed out of her wounds. She began to waver slightly and looked to be at death’s door. I couldn’t allow her to fall during the battle, so I rushed towards the goblins and swung my pickaxe at the goblins. The pickaxe threw the goblins into the air, smashing their heads on the ceilings and landing on the floor with a big “thud”. “So, this is Super Strength!” I shouted as I plowed through the goblins, killing the entire horde. After taking out the horde of goblins, I turned towards the girl. She reached out a hand and attempted to speak, but collapsed before she could mutter a word. I dashed to her side and held her in my arms in a princess carry position as I began to walk out of the mine.

Episode Three "Wounds"

Recap:

Kristian died in his sleep, entering Heaven where he met with Wraith. He was then given a choice--be reborn in Earth without his memories or be transferred to a new world full of magic and swords with his memories intact. He picked the new world and a strange choice of class---miner class. He then appears at the entrance of a mine, ready to live a new peaceful life. However, as he ventured into the mine and began to pick his way towards ores, he heard sounds coming from deeper in the mine and went to investigate. He discovers a girl being attacked by goblins and steps in to save her, taking her outside of the mine.

I took the girl outside of the mine and placed her on the grass. I had a better look at the girl. Her long black hair resembled a river flowing down to her waist and which contrasted with the tattered rags she wore. I took my eyes off her and onto the mine, leaving her behind on the grass, sleeping peacefully, and returned to the crime scene. The corpses of the dead goblins disappeared, leaving crystals the size of a dollar coin. “Weird… I’ll ask the girl about these crystals later.” I reached down and picked up all twelve crystals. I then turned around and headed out of the mine, leading to the outside. Once outside, I noticed the girl’s puddle of blood forming around her. “I forgot that she’s dying!” I shouted as I dashed to her side.

“She’s dying!” A female’s voice shrieked. I looked around wildly for the voice’s origin. A girl popped out of shrubbery nearby the mine’s entrance.

“Yeah, she was attacked by goblins!” I told her. The girl had black bangs and pale skin. She stared at me before dashing to the girl's side, beginning to address the wounds. She then turned around and barked orders at me to gather plants for medicine. I rushed out into the forest in search of plants that fit the criteria that the girl gave me, finding them and returning it to the girl. The girl took the plants from my palms and revealed a small bowl from a bag on her back, mashing them together with an added plant from her bag. She then applied the medicine onto the dying girl’s wounds. Once finished with treating the wounds, she stood up and faced me.

“Do you have any crystals?” She asked with a fierce stare. I didn’t want to create any trouble with the inhabitants of this world. I handed the crystals over to her.

“Twelve crystals?  What monsters did you kill to get these.”

“Goblins,”

“Goblins? You killed goblins?” She asked.

“Yeah,” I said, nervously, as she stared at me with a piercing stare. “If you don’t believe me, then ask her when she wakes up.”

“I will, but, for now, help me take her back to my village.” She said. I let out a small sigh as I nodded, holding up the girl’s upper body while the other girl held up the lower body.

“Well, isn’t this great. The first day here and I haven’t done any mining,” I muttered to myself.
