My all star baseball jersey represents me and my dedication to baseball. My dedication to baseball is greater than almost anything else in the world. The jersey sums up my dedication and drive in baseball. When I think of this jersey it’s not just my dusty gross baseball shirt, it’s a symbol of my drive and passion towards the great sport. My jersey reminds me of the rocky baseball field the 110 degree weather and dust tornadoes on the baseball field every day, buying out the dairy queen store all weekend, trying to find something to keep the weather off our mind. Playing around in the pool, throwing each other around, and running around gloves on hand looking for something to keep us occupied when not playing. This experience is bottled up in my T-shirt and will never come out.
This jersey for me also exemplifies my drive and it shows how I stride to be better in baseball. I stride to outplay and beat my opponents, every day, while having fun competing with my close friends. When I play in the jersey I go to a whole different level, because I know it was not given to me lightly. With it they expect me to be the best I can be all the time. I don’t let them down. I believe that when they entrust you with something this important you take it on and don’t take it on lightly because for me this was the opportunity of a lifetime. This jersey means too much to put into words for me; it showcases my stride towards being great.
This jersey is a symbol of me and how I believe in things. A symbol that will never ware off and never go away. This is why my jersey means so much to me.
