T'shawn only nodded his head, sniffing.
"T'shawn, you wanna go shopping and get you some new clothes and shoes?"
He looked up, smiling, eyes still light pink from the tears. "For real?!" he said, happily.
Kavierra nodded, "Yes, for real. 'They' won't stop you, I promise."
T'shawn immediately knew who 'they' was. It was a word that replace the word 'parent'. The 'man' and the 'women' who was their birth parents, but they wouldn't dare call them that, why should they when they were never there when they need help and was always there when they need someone to mess with."Okay!" T'shawn finally responded.
They both quickly put on their shoes, already in the clothes that looked alright. It didn't really made them look homeless. Kavierra carried T'shawn quietly and quickly running up the stairs. She unlocked the door, tucking the money into her long black sleeves. She didn't hear 'them' near the living room, they were probably was still in their bedroom, doing their stuff. Kavierra rubbed her sore arms, feeling and knowing that it was going to turn purple and blue later. "We're going," she said.
She came out of the basement, silently shutting the basement door and opening the back door, leaving home. Kavierra didn't bother to lock the door, she was hoping that a robber or a murder comes in and kill them. Besides, they didn't have the key to 'their' house.
"Kavi, what about school?" T'shawn asked. Kavierra looked at him, patting his head and making sure that the money was in her sleeves.
"Who cares about school, it's a shitty place to be in," Kavierra replied.
"But, you always want me to go school."
"For your own good, right now its your onee-chan's job is to protect you and try to teach you things you need to know, okay T'shawn?"
He nodded his head in agreement. T'shawn couldn't go school, no one knew that he ever existed here because he was born in secret. The 'woman' didn't want him and really badly wanted to get rid of it, she couldn't abort the child because she didn't have the money. She gave birth to him and left him in the forest to die. Luckily, Kavierra, who was around eleven years old by then, was there to see her give birth to the child and leave him there. Kavierra knew that it was a child, the woman's child. She thought that she would hate him, she also wanted to leave it to die, but when she first heard the child's cry, she knew that she couldn't leave it. She picked up the child, wrapping him into her sweater, patting his head. She couldn't think of a name, but didn't remember how she got the name T'shawn. Afterwards, she couldn't hate him. It wasn't his fault that he was born from that woman. He didn't chose to be with her and to be their child.
It took Kavierra about an hour just to walk to Walmart. She grabbed the most good looking, suitable clothes for T'shawn and had just found out that he was really interested into cars and dinosaurs. She grabbed two pairs of Van shoes for him and for herself, matching. One of them was black with stripes and skulls and the other was blue stripes. Kavierra made sure to buy them both undergarments, glad that she was there when a lady was explaining her kids which clothes to wear and which clothes would fit when she went shopping to shoplift. To admit, it was rather easy. She bought food, snacks, extra pillows, and blankets and paid everything with the money T'shawn stole. It was nice for once not to steal from the store.
After shopping, they went to other places to spend off some of the money or went to the park to play. They soon went home, carrying bags of clothes and toys. It was late at night, but Kavierra didn't care. They both sneak into the house, using the back door which was still unlocked. They both went downstairs, putting their items away, hiding the money behind a broken wall that had the removable wood piece.
Slowly, T'shawn fell asleep on Kavierra's bed. She slowly picked him up, carrying him to his room that was near the stairs. She place him on his small bed.She made sure that he was wearing his new clothes that they bought today. He was wearing a long sleeve shirt that had his favorite red dinosaur on it and his red sweat pants that looked so comfortable. Shepatted him on the head like always then left the room quietly, turning off the light.
She went straight to bed, fixing her pillow first. She plopped onto the dirty bed, covering herself with her brand new black blanket. She closed her eyes, covering her face with her blanket.

Kavierra immediately heard a crash from upstairs, she got up, flipping her blanket off of her. What the fuck was that noise? Kavierra got off her bed, quietly walking upstairs to check what the noise was. She opened the door, letting it creak. She slowly entered the kitchen, then immediately stopped. She knew that something was in front of her, even when the place was dark and she was unable to see. She trained herself to use all of her senses, especially when she's in dark, she had to if she wanted to survive.
That 'man' was standing right in front of her, walking crazy, as if he was drunk. She sniff the air. Burning plastic. That was the smell of meth being used, that stupid man was using meth.
The 'man' turned on the light, revealing Kavierra's face and where she's was standing. It was a good thing she got here first before he got downstairs. He could've woke T'shawn up. Kavierra stood there, quiet. He got his towel over his waist, hair wet, half naked, showing his abs. That man was fairly young compare to other men who had kids.
"Where is it?" the 'man' finally said.
Kavierra tilted her head a little,"What the fuck is you talking about?"
"Don't talk like you know nothing shit! You know what I am talking about, now hand it over!"
Shit, did he found out?! "Fuck no I don't!" Kavierra yelled back.
He walked up to her, face to face, "What makes you think you could talk like that to me, huh? I brought you here and I could use you whatever and whenever I like!!"
Kavierra gritted her teeth, she wanted to punch him so badly, but she fought her urge and didn't punch him. She needed him to get her money, if she leave now, she couldn't save enough money to get an apartment for a few months and the money wouldn't be enough for T'shawn.
"Where is it?!!" he bellowed.
"I don't know what you're talking about!"
"Meth!" he yelled,"Where are they! I'll kill you if you're hiding them!!"
Sadly, she didn't have any nor did she hide them. "I don't have them and I didn't hide them," she said as calm as possible, "I'm going back to sleep." Kavierra turned around, trying to reach to the basement entrance as quickly as possible, just in case the man tries to thorw something at her.
Suddenly, he grabbed her hair and pulled Kavierra back, away from the basement, dragging her all the way to the living room.

'A lost body, your soul separated into two different worlds. This, is the punishment from the heavens that they have brought to you, Regnorrik Alsphairra.'
I'm not going to make it!! Kavierra said inside of her head, finally manages to get away from the man grip. What was she suppose to do when that old man is chasing after her for something that she didn't have. She was running toward the suppose to be guest room not at her high speed due to the slippery floor that was covered with dirt that seems to be from dirty shoes. How can floors be slippery when it's dirty? When was the last time they mopped the floor? Seem like it was forever.
She entered the room, not even halfway through the door and she immediately felt a tug on her hair. She knew what was going to happen next. She had to fight back. Or at least defend herself.
The old man pulled Kavierra toward him, slamming her face against the wall, unable to maintain the drool inside his mouth.
Kavierra began to kick at his stomach, hoping that he would let go or loosen up the force that was pressing onto her face. She felt warm liquid streaming down her cheek, knowing that it wasn't sweat, but her blood. She didn't want to loose a lot of blood this year, she had lost too much already that she was sent to the hospital when the police found her lying on the sidewalk just outside of her home after she was struck by the baseball bat by the lady who was with the old man. She had to lie & escape there to see if T'shawn was all right.
Kavierra kicked him directly on his chin, knowing that her flexibility of her legs could kick very high and straight. He released Kavierra, grabbing his chin, screaming in pain. Kavierra had the chance to run, she turned around, about to run when suddenly she saw the woman there. With the baseball bat. The woman swung the bat and hit Kavierra hard on the head, almost knocking her into conciseness.
Kavierra yelled in pain, managing to hear the old man get up and taking a step forward at her. She knew it, the hard blow was coming. She curl into a ball, using her arms to cover herself and hope that she survive to see T'shawn.
The old man stomped on her many times, especially on the stomach, head, back, legs, and arms. Kavierra could feel bruises coming along and she didn't have time to rub her sore arms and legs. The old man grabbed the bat from his wife and struck Kavierra with it multiple times, asking her where she put the meth at. Kavierra chose not to respond because she knew that he would still hit her.
She couldn't fight back, she was afraid that they would aim T'shawn as their next target. They never knew that T'shawn was their child. Blood child. She was afraid that if she fought back too much, they would remember about him. She couldn't let that happen.
The woman finally understood what the man
