I share Elvis spirituality and I know how he felt about not being understood, he needed a strong but tender love that would listen to him but also give him the strengh to be who he really wanted to be, the Elvis born in Tupelo who had dreams of becoming a singer but never dreamed that his fame would make him feel lonely at the top...

This is for you Elvis with all my love...

Elvis And The Honky Tonk Angel

"Hey E, there is someone out there to see you"

"Joe, I don't want to see anybody man, I am not in the mood", Elvis was feeling a bit down that morning.

"Not even that girl you are so fond of?", Joe looked at how Elvis's face changed.

"Ann?"

"Ah, ha, she came for your Vegas Opening tonight"

"Did she Joe, man I had been thinking about her lately"

"She is in the living room area", Elvis looked himself in the mirror to see if he looked alright.

"Wow, I thought she was not going to come back after what happened"

"That girl is special E, you know that"

"Yeah, I know man, I know, how do I look?.

"Like a million dollars man", Elvis laughed and went out of the bedroom, there she was looking as sweet as always, that woman had something in her that made him feel warm all over.

"Hi sweetheart", they embraced tightly, he kissed her face.

"Hello Presley, how is everything?"

"I am hanging in there"

"You look good", he smile, maybe he did look good because being in Vegas always made him strong.

"Honey, I am sorry for how I acted last time we saw each other, I was just scare to get so close to you like that"

"I understand Presley", Elvis took her hand and led her to the couch, they sat close by, he was holding her hand. Ann felt the same sensation Elvis felt, a feeling of warmth all over her body.

"I felt so bad about it all this weeks, I thought you would never want to see me again"

"You know that would never happen, I had always told you that you can count on me, remember?, Elvis kissed her fingers gently.

"Yeah, I know honey but I was afraid that I spoiled everything, you had given me so much, nobody listens to me like you do"

"That is because I understand you Presley, I know what that heart of yours need"

"You sure do, I can talk to you about mamma, all the pain I went through when I lost her and even if I had told you a million times you still listen to me", Ann caressed his face.

"I lost my mother too, I know how it feels, specially if there is a strong bond between mother and child".

"Give me a chance to show you how much you mean to me", Ann smile at him softly.

"Remember all the times that we had talked, all our fun times but mostly our times of sharing what we have in our hearts?.

"I have thought about that often sweetheart, I never thought I could meet someone like you, is like finally I felt understood"

"And you are Presley, you are really a wonderful person who needs love, I can give you all the unconditional love you need", Elvis twined his fingers with hers, Ann felt something gentle inside of her, something she couldn't describe.

"I made all my dreams come true, I am blessed but is lonely on top, before meeting you I talked to Larry about my spiritual quest, he understood but you are in the same page I am, you cared for what I have to say"

"I can't help you if you don't want to Presley but if you do want my help I am here for you"

"We all make mistakes honey, I have my share of them and I don't want to hurt you, that is why I pull away from you, that is why I reacted that way last time we saw each other"

"Is forgotten Elvis, it is"

"I just want you close, you safe me, you are my honky tonk angel".
