~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter One
A beginning
Flame woke up, smelling pancakes, bacon, and biscuits. Hey, he thought, yawning, and pulling the covers back as he sat up on the side of his small twin bed, this might just be a good day after all. He yawned once more, then walked to the bathroom and shut the door in the hall. While he brushed his teeth with his left hand, he also brushed his long, flame like orange hair and flipped it to the right with his right hand. When he was through, he walked back to his room and put on a bright blue, short sleeved, collared shirt over an Under Armour T-shirt. Then, he put on blue jeans, stuck his knife in them, put on his light Sperry, and then went down the hall to his sister, Tara's, room. He opened the door quietly, let her cat run out for food, and saw that she had managed to fall asleep with her pink bible on her face, her body over the covers, her left hand holding a closed water bottle, and her body side ways on the bed. Man, That is jacked up, Flame thought, shaking his head and smiling. Closing the door gently, he then walked to the stairs and jogged down them.
"G'mornin', Flame." He heard his mother, Sarah, say to him when he reached the bottom of the stairs. "Would you be a doll and put the butter and the syrup up? Thanks. And do not ask me about what happened in the fridge." Sarah said, regardless of her son's raised eyebrow, as she thrust the two things at him. Flame, knowing his mom all to well, said as he put the butter up in the fridge and then asked his mom as he put the syrup up in their little pantry, "you work last night?" His mother sighed.
"Yes, and I hate myself for it." Sighed Sarah, closing her big blue eyes as she sucked her finger she just recently burned, and with the other hand she
tucked her hair behind her ear. Flame laughed, right as Tara came down the stairs, half awake and half asleep, with her pink bunny slippers on, a plush white robe on, and pink cupcake plush bottoms on. Along with, to top it all off, a black tank top.
She fell down the stairs, but Flame caught her with one hand from the twenty yards to the staircase.
"Show off." Tara stuck her tongue out at him, and Flame said, "what, you would've rather me not've caught you?" Tara rolled her eyes.
"Children, don't make me pull over," Sarah said, looking at them with her iPhone 4 in the crook of her shoulder, "besides, breakfast is ready." Flame and Tara set the table in a flash. When they did, they all sat around the table and ate, quietly. They all knew what every one was thinking about, too.
Their father.
Tony Wolfghong had died in Vietnam, serving as a five star General. He always told Flame that it was the best way to die, and he died the best way to. Yet now his death was used in arguments. Not that they could control it, either.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter Two
Falling

Tara heard a high pitched whinny. She went into the living room and tore off every thing but her black tank top, revealing light wash and super flare blue jeans, and black boots. Then, she yelled, "be back by dawn!" As she slid back the heavy sliding glass doors and sprinted out. When she saw Puma, a Tan Buckskin, rear, showing off his speckled white blotches on his legs, she sighed and told a ranch hand to saddle him.
"B- b- b- b- but miss, he's been crazy all night and day." The hand stammered.
"I'll soothe him while you do it." Tara replied, leaning on her right hip, and tucked her extremely curly dumb blonde hair behind her ear. When the ranch hand was finished, (I call them hands, it helps quicken up the book pace,) Tara jumped on Puma with a single leap, and walked around the place until sun down on Puma. When the time did come, she told a hand to put Puma back, and went inside, ran up the stairs, and looked at the note on her wall, and the spidery script on it.

Dear Tara,

I'm very very very sorry I had to go to a meeting. :( But, I do have some rules, like do NOT go riding Puma. Keep all doors locked and shut, windows closed and blinds down. I'm so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so sorry!!!

Love,
Mother

Tara sighed. Yeah right, I'm not riding Puma. She thought as she hurried down the stairs and outside, with nothing better to do, and hopped on Puma, and galloped to the new jump course in her western saddle. When they got there, she slowed Puma to a stop, and looked over the course. None to bad, she thought, as she prepared Puma for the first jump. But just as they were about to jump, Puma saw a snake and reared, throwing Tara off. Groaning, Tara tried to reach for her iPhone 4 just as it was out of reach. When she knew there was no hope, She saw the frame off a muscular guy before her, with dark flippy hair, huge golden eyes, a deep sun tan, and the rest, she couldn't tell, as she faded into a sleep full of sun beams from staring into the depth of his eyes.

When Tara woke up, she was in a small little cabin, with the boy by her side, herself laying on a huge red couch, right in front of a plasma screen. When Tara tried to sit up, the boys hand put her back down. "Stay laying down. What'cha wanna eat?" She heard his deep, soothing voice say.
"Macoroni and cheese, please," Tara said back, thinking her voice sounded funny to his.
"Gotcha," He said, then added, "by the way,
I'm Reddick." As he walked to his small kitchen, he pulled out a shelf in his fridge and pulled out a tray of mac & cheese.
"I'm Tara," Tara said back, looking at him, he was probably seven foot eleven at the least. Reddick grabbed a back pack, and then tossed her one. "I'd start packing the stuff that can fit in there if I were you." Reddick said, as he wrapped the mac & cheese. Tara unibrowed, but when a spark lifted on the stove, she started to rush things in her back pack.
"We best get going before the assassins find us here, but then we can come back." Reddick said, slinging a strap over his shoulder, and took hers, then took her laying down in his arms.
"Assassins?" Tara asked.
"Long story." REddick said back, as he went to the door and ran out of it, right before a cloud of black appeared inside.
"Oh," Tara said, looking back at the crowd of cloaked figures.
"Yep, they're living hell. Literally." Reddick said, looking at her.
