Slowly walking up to the front door, quickly and quietly. Moved the form. Once at the front door the form reached for the doorknob. DING!! DONG!! DINDIN!! DING!! DONG!! The form jumped and spun around only to be hit with bright light. "GAHH!!!!" The form cried out in pain as the light burned its eyes. The light turned off and someone said, "OH! Sorry Faira! I didn't know it was you!" Faira glared at where Jim, her neighbor, was standing.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" She yelled at him. "Sorry! Ok so I'm a little paranoid about people coming and going at night... its no big deal..." Said Jim raising his hands in defense. "People coming and going at night?" There was a short pause. "Are you nuts!?" Faira asked in disbelief with her eyes wide. "No... Why do you ask?" Jim asked Faira innocently. "Uhg! Just go back to bed Jim!" Faira replied to him opening her door and walking in. "Alright then! See you tomorrow!" Jim responded cheerily. "Right!" Faira said as she shut her front door.

"I sometimes think it would be better if something would "Accidentally" happen to him... but I have to admit he is a good guy." Faira said to herself as she walked across the front room into the kitchen. She went over to the fridge and opened it. She closed it with a grunt of disgust. "Someone needs to clean up this place!" She said in a voice of irritation. "Well not tonight." She said chuckling. She walked out of the kitchen and into the living room. She flopped down onto the couch and turned on the TV. It turned onto the news. "We have reports of another murder. The police suspect that the husband of the murder victim for he has no alibi. He has so far been un-" The TV turned off with a click. Faira sighed as she got up. "Why do they always suspect the husband?" she asked herself raising her hands in a gesture of question. "Oh well not something I need to worry about... yet." She told herself. She walked to her room’s door and just as she was about to open it she stopped. She stood still for a second. "Well maybe I do need to worry about it... right now." She said turning around to find someone standing across from her.

"Who are you" she paused "And why are you here?" Faira asked the stranger. As she waited for an answer she tried to get a better idea of who it was. Male, well built (from what she could make out), no weapons that she could see, but she knew better then to take that for sure, and with the way the shadows where he had dark hair. Of course this was all just a rough guess. The man didn't say anything, and as she stood there in a stance, that on the outside showed calm but on the inside showed readiness, everything became confused. Everything went in fast forward while she stayed in slow motion. Or was it the other way around? As the feelings of time disruption continued the man started to walk towards her in slow motion. She tried to move but she couldn't. "What?" She asked the stranger as things continued to change. He got close enough for her to see him smile. As she saw him smile she noticed that he had either grown along with everything else, or that she had dropped down to the floor. Her vision began to dim and she was losing consciousness. Just before she lost it she thought one thing. "Wow he has white teeth!" Then all was black.

She woke with a start. As she looked around herself she felt pain corse up through her back. "What happened?" She asked herself when nothing seamed different then it always was. Her head started to pound when she tried to stand up. She ignored the pain and stood fully. She walked into the living room and looked around. When she spotted nothing out of the ordinary she moved onto the kitchen. She still didn't see anything out of the ordinary. She walked over to the front door and checked the lock. It was as she had left it. Her head was pounding and it felt like someone was hitting it with a hammer. "What was that then? A dream?" She asked the empty air. She raised her hand to her head and was startled when she touched something wet. She pulled her hand down quickly and what she saw was blood. She walked down the hall leaning on the wall for support. When she reached the end she turned left and headed for the bathroom. When she looked in the mirror she saw the whole right side of her face covered in blood. "Now come on! Thats not something you forget!" She exclaimed to herself shocked. NOCK. NOCK. NOCK. "Hey are you all right?" Jim asked. "Umm... Ya I'm fine Jim thank you!" She replied quickly scrubbing at her face. She started to bleed again and so she scrubbed harder. She just continued to make it worse. "Umm are you sure? Can I come in?" Jim asked. "Ah. Never mind! I'm to tired to care right now." She said to herself. She went to the front door and answered it. "OH MY!" Jim exclaimed. "Ya I know I Have a bloody face deal with it!" Faira said to Jim as if it was nothing. "Are you all right?!" Jim asked again. "Yes I'm fine!" she responded. "I just fell and hit my head. Its all right." She said trying to convince him. "Right well its been two days now that you haven't come out of your house." Jim said looking worried. "You.... you watch me?" Faira asked looking at Jim closely. "Well... Ummm... Ya." Jim said looking down. "Oh... uh ok." Faira said. "Well I'm fine so ya... you don't need to worry." She told him. "Right your fine you just happen to have a bloody face and have missed two days of work." Jim responded. "Jim will you please just go away and let me rest!?" She asked almost yelling at him. Jim was startled. "Fine!" Jim said still startled. He turned and went back home. "Well hes not the one." She said. She went back into her house looking down. "He doesn’t have white enough teeth." She continued. She looked up and couldn't help but gasp.

Jim walked away from Faira's house in a state of confusion. He knew something was wrong not just by seeing the side of her face covered in blood. There was something odd about the whole situation. It was as if some one was watching the place. He shrugged the feeling away and opened his front door. He turned around to close his door, and when it was closed something cold slid over his throat. His mouth dropped open and he stiffened up. He heard a small chuckle from behind him. Then he felt the biting cold of steel slicing his neck. He tried to cry out but all he got was a gurgle of blood.
