Adeleโs POV
Hi Iโm Adele and before I explain my story let me describe my self. Iโm really tall but I also slightly over weight no matter what my mom and brother says-said.
I have short dark hair and eyes that change colors. Iโm also 12years old. Now that Iโm done with that let me tell you my story.
Tomorrow Iโm going to leave my past behind and start again away from the place where everything went wrong. Iโve got a chance to change my life and Iโm going to take it no matter what happens.
Let me explain. Just two weeks ago, there was a freak car accident and my brother and mother were in it. When they were recovered from the wreckage, they had somehow forgotten me. My dad was living in another country with his wife.
When I had heard that my mom and my brother had forgotten me, I was devastated and I was sure this was a joke but boy was I wrong.
Now they cannot stand the sight of me so foster care workers are going to send me to another country. Some families in China and Japan wanted to adopt me so I suggested spending 2 years with each family. After that I would return to Australia. I felt so luck and so sad at the same time. I was going to China and Japan but I was leaving my family behind.
A FEW DAYS LATER
Todays the day, Iโm leaving for Japan. Canโt wait to meet my new family. I really hope they like me and hopefully when I get back my real family will remember me.
FOUR YEARS LATER
I was back in Australia but I was not alone. Some of my family from Japan and China had come to Australia with me and we were all going to live together. My families were really rich and so we had chosen to build a massive new house. Half of it would be Japanese styled while the other half would be Chinese. We also lived very close to a high school. Funnily enough the high school we had chosen to go to, was the same one I wouldโve gone to if I had chosen to stay in Australia.
I was so glad to be back. My sisters had chosen to take me shopping but I knew they only wanted an excuse to go and look around and my brothers didnโt want a guy to ask them out. My, I guess my familyโs going to become one in a few years with all the guys going after the girls.
My foster Uncle came with us just because he felt like. He doesnโt like being called Oji-san though so we just call him Seji-san. Seji-san is nearly thirty and is a Japanese novel writer and he is always looking for an excuse to slack off but his books are really famous.
So we all went shopping, seriously the Australian clothes are really different to Japanese and Chinese.
It was so fun even though we didn't really buy anything. It was really funny because everyone was staring at us because we were acting like idiots every now and then.
THE NEXT DAY
"Adele-chan, time to get up." yelled my oldest sister Sakura from outside my room. "You,re late for school.
"WHAT!" Leaping out of bed I ran to my closet and was just about to get changed when I looked at the alarm.
"Sakura! It's Sunday." I yelled.
"Got you out of bed though. Why don't you go and wander around for a while?" She suggested. "Get used to the area and maybe make some friends."
"Do you want me to take anyone with me?" I asked.
"No because they have to unpack." she replied.
"Then I should be helping." I pointed out.
"No." she said firmly. "You have been away for a while so we have decided to let you go out and have fun."
"But we did that yesterday." I began.
"Yes and all we did was drag you around, so today you can go for a walk by yourself."
"Fine but only if you come and join me in half an hour." I replied.
"Okay. Now get out." Sakura laughed.
Walking down to the park near my place, I though of all the fun I had had with my family here. My mom and my brother had moved to a different part of the country and no one would tell me where they went.
Suddenly I recognised where I was. It was the primary school I used to go to.
