THE LIZARD MEN


Tommy was moving home he was all excited about this move to a new house , he lived with his parents and younger

brother whose name was Jack they were very excited about moving home They lived in a small flat in the centre of London

and were moving to a very large farmhouse in the country. Tommy parents had been left the property by an old aunt, from

what Tommy and his brother were told it was going to be a great adventure, Tommy was thirteen and Jack was twelve, Jack got excited

excited about everything and Tommy always had to calm him down, they were busy helping there parents to pack up things in

there bedroom. They were to be moving the next day and Tommy knew he would get no sleep with Jack, Tommy,s mother was a nurse at the loca

at the local hospital and his father was a doctor at the local surgery they both had good jobs and were hopeing to find other jobs

jobs very similar in the country. There was no one got much sleep that night and Jack was bounding all over the place, it

took all of Tommy,s stamina to keep him under control, they eventually got in the car behind the removal man and they were on there way

there way, Jack kept saying we were going to have big adventures here i just know it.

They seemed to be on the road for hours before they eventually arrived at there new home, it was very dark and the clouds were hanging over the house it

mother was waking them up saying " come on boys its time for your breakfast and then you can go exploring" we jumped out of

bed and ran downstairs to be greeted by our father ,he had a gret big smile on his face and asked if we had a good nights

sleep, I told my dad Jack was a bit scred during the night and he said" it will take a while to get used to the new house

window I could not make out what it was bit it looked very dark and I felt like it was staring straight back at me, it was

very unnerving I could not say anything to Jack he was already scared I looked away and looked back it was gone what ever

it was. We went inside for our dinner and after decided to go to our room and play some games I was eager to go back upstairs

to the attic but I could not take Jack with me.Igot my chance when Jack went downstairs to sit with mam and dad, Iwas really excited about going to

in the corner of the attic I could see a shape emerging from the corner I could not make it out but I was getting really

scared it seemed to me it was a lizard shape Icould see sharp fang teeth and a very large long head it was floating closer

to me I had to get out of the room, suddenly I heard Jacks voice shout "are you in there Tommy I want to play a game " I

rushed for the door and got out without looking behind all I heard was a wet noise sounded like a puddle of water being

dragged across the floor, I went down with Jack and decided not to tell my parents I was old enough to deal with anything or so I

so I thought.The attic played on my mind all night I could not get the shape and noise out of my mind,I decided to go to bed

and plan out what to do the next day I did not know whether to tell Jack or not , I thought I would tell him anyway. He sat up in bed and asked

up in bed and asked what I thought of the house and I said " it was a bit creepy but we would find out why do you want to

help me Jack" he jumped out of his bed and into mine saying" we will sort it Tommy,I am very strong now." I just smiled

at him and I decided to tell him what had happened that day, he was amazed and excited and could not wait till the next

morning and explore everywhere.

We got up the next morning and had our breakfast our parents were so busy they just let us go and do our thing

Tommy and Jack decided on going up to the attic first ,Jack was all for it so they went upstairs they opened the door and the same smell
