I don't know when it started, but I can guess it was a couple of weeks ago when me and my little brother, Joseph, and I have been getting sort of spaced apart. We was the closest out of our other seven siblings, Leon, Cortez, La'Craig, Jalacia, Andrea', Ced, and Cam'Ron. I started worrying about my little brother. The first thing I thought was he was on drugs. Then I said that's impossible. Second I thought was, maybe he thought I wasn't cool anymore, since he is growing up. I decided to just sleep on it for a while and see how I feel in the morning.

I woke in the middle of the night with sweat all over my body and my heart is racing like a Nascar. I had a nightmare about Doomsday, but any way, back to the story. I looked around in my dark room, sitting straight up in bed. As I stare into the darkness, it only gets darker. So that scares me even more because I'm afraid of the dark. I throw the covers off of me really quick to sprint to the kitchen to get a cup of ice-cold water. I basically cut on every light in the house while I was running. I take a big gulp of my water, cut the t.v. on, and doze back off to sleep. As I'm half-way sleep, I hear crackling noises in the kitchen. I turn the t.v. off to listen closer. Silence. Dead Silence. I turn my t.v. back on to go back to sleep. The next morning I woke, I went into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, rinsed my face off, and got dressed into my uniform clothes. Cortez and I got on the bus and went to Newport Middle School - Newport High School. After the bump ride to school, I got off the bus to bump into Joseph leaving breakfast.
" Hey,JiJi! "
" Whatsup Josephine! What yo' bad tail been' up to? "
" Nothing much. I been baby-sitting these bad, hard-head kids. Ima' strangle one of them one day. "
" I don't see how you can handle it. "
" Me neither "
As we turn and walk down the hallway, I try to think of something to say to break the awkward silence. I hate when your done talking to somebody, then your both just sitting there because there is nothing else to say.
" Did you see that new episode of Supernatural last night? " I say to break the silence.
" Ooh yes, girl. They was like, SAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!. "
" Excuse me, " we were interrupted by Mr. Chavez.
" aren't you two suppose to be in class?
" Yes Sir, were on our way now. " Joseph says with a marking tone.
" Hurry, for We'll count you as tardy. "
" Well, I guess I'll see you after school then, Baby JoJo.
" Okay love you Sis. "
" I Love you too. " Then we go our separate ways.
