13 is an unlucky number. Many though don't know just how unlucky it is. My name is Hallo W. Een. I know, I know my name spells halloween. That is soooo funny. No it is not but it is better than them actually knowing my middle name. So I'll stick with it. Since this is only going to be seen by possibly three people I guess it is only fair to start at the very beginning. It is easier to write it than talk it, right?
"Okay class it is again the thirteenth month. So, what does this mean for you class?" our teacher mr. Bayer asks. To this the class groans. Then one kid from class shouts out, "The reaper's birthday!" Some kids laugh and others look around nervously. Me, well I'm in the corner hoping that nobody mentions me but unfortunately 13 isn't lucky. Tric shouts out, "No, it is halloween's birthday!" Everybody starts laughing. I wait for the teacher to tell the reason. We would be put to The Test. I hated that Test. It just proved that I was different.
It used to be the easiest test in the world. If you were of average intelligence and you studied you would pass it. Now, well let's say it is a test where their is no real good grade. They used to call it the S.A.T. Now it is called the Reap test. A test to see what you were. You would take these tests every year but this was the most important year for us. Thirteen was the age where you get stuck with what was suggested.
"Okay it is time to begin, remember no such thing as a bad grade!" our teacher exclaims. then someone muttered, "No such thing as a grade either." We all knew it but I didn't know how true it really was until after the test. First thing on the test was name. This was the worst part for me because my name is already off. I don't need THEM
telling me it is. Next is a series of different questions; favorite color, favorite animal, the history of the Earth, mathimatical equations, grammar, favorite way to die, your beliefs, what you were previouslly suggested, and ect. I'm sure you get the idea.
