Ring! Ring! Ring! β€œI'm coming already!" I shouted from the kitchen. "Hello," I said answering the phone. "Hello," said a voice that I couldn't recognize. "Is this the Grayson family?" I answered, "Yes." Then there was a click on the other line. Rude I thought as I hung up the phone. Then got ready for school. After I was fully dressed in our school uniform, which was a plaited, red skirt that came inches above my knees, a white dress shirt, and a black sweater, I slipped on some flats to match the sweater and walked out the front door.

When I finally got to school I realized something. Everyone was gossiping more than usual. At first I ignored it. In this school you get use to people talking about stupid things. After a while I heard my name, some gasps and snickers, but when ever I'd try to find out what they were saying. Then they would go into silence. After five tries I finally gave up and tried to keep my day as normal as possible. I walked into my fourth period class and sat down in my regular seat. Like always I took out all my supplies and sat it on my desk. When the teacher began the lesson our principle walked in holding out a clipboard to her. She looked in my direction and nodded at him. Turning to me the principle said, β€œLillian, come with me." I nodded, gathered my things and followed him to his office. We didn’t speak until the door was closed."Ms.Grayson. As I understand you are a straight A student, yes?" He asked. β€œThat’s correct." I replied. "How old are you?" He asked. "16" I said. "Why?" I asked. He smiled at me and said, "No reason. I just was trying to make conversation. I guess you're wondering why I pulled you out of class." I nodded. The principle sighed. "Well, your parents called and asked for me to pull you out of school." I swear my jaw dropped to the floor and my eyes bugged out of my head. He continued, "Lillian, I'm sorry, but I have to ask you to gather your stuff and leave." With that I returned all my books and emptied my locker. Then I left for my slow walk home.

At home I walked in to hear shouting."-won't" Screamed my mother. "You have to! We made a deal!" yelled an unfamiliar voice. It was probably another one of her crappy coworkers. "Fine then, we’ll see how your mind will change!" My mother yelled. "Erika, don't be this way. You know it's for the best." Said another voice I didn't know. "Lily should be home soon. Maybe we should wait a while," said my father. I didn't want to hear them talking about me when I wasn't in the room. So I slammed the front door, and went upstairs to my room. A few minutes later my mother came up and asked me to go downstairs to greet our guest. I did das I was told. When I walked into the room I saw a man and a woman mid-thirties. Putting on my best fake smile and perky voice I said, "Hello. I'm Lillian." The woman smiled back at me saying, "It's nice to meet you. I'm Jenna and this is my husband Oliver." They held out a hand for me to shake. Then I sat down next to my father as my mother sat on the other side of him. "What brings you here?" I asked. My parents grew tense, and everything grew quiet. It was a new person who answered my question. He looked a little older than me, had black hair and jade green eyes. He was tall, slim, and some build. "That would be for you." He said. I blinked confused. "Nick!!!" screeched Jenna. "Go back outside, now. We told you to wait." Inside my head I was thinking 'Crazy Alert!' Outside I was saying "Who is Nick?" My mother answered, β€œYour fiancΓ©." "Ohh.Wh-wait!" My fiancΓ©! Since when? I've never seen him in my life until now." I practically screamed. Well technically I did. "Well, Nick's parents have always been a family friend. So when I had you we made an agreement that you two will marry each other." My mother said with a sad smile. I said with a small voice, β€œOh, so...now what?" I was still getting over the fact that I had a fiancΓ©. "Of course, we wouldn't expect you to want to marry a stranger. So, until the wedding you're going to live with Nick." Oliver announced. My jaw dropped. How could they do this? "With that said, Lillian, go pack. I nodded and slowly exited the room. Making my way to my bed room it felt like walking to the end of the Earth.

Nick's P.O.V.

So that was her. My future wife. I had to admit she was beautiful. She has light brown hair with deep bleep eyes. If that wasn't enough she also has an hourglass figure, developed features, and an attitude like no other. Perfect, that was her. At that moment my mom came out with a smile on her face, and then came my father...and he had a smile, too. Judging by that that meant Lillian was going to England with me. "Go and help her get her things." said my father. Without a word I walked into the house.

Lily's P.O.V.

I just got my things to the bottom of the stairs when he walked in. God, he was hot. "Here let me get that. The car will pull up in a minute." He said grabbing my suitcase and walking back outside. 10 minutes later a limo stopped in front of us. Not saying a word the driver got out and took my bag, while Nick opened the car door for me. After I got in, Nick slid in beside me. Apparently we were traveling far, because after two hours I fell asleep.

Nick's P.O.V.

Looking at her sleep, she seemed so peaceful. Then Lillian leaned over resting her head on my lap while wrapping her arms around my waist. Gently I stroked her silky hair as I pulled her closer. Already I knew we were going to become very close. As if she knew what I was thinking, a smile appeared on her face. Suddenly I had the urge to kiss her. Groaning I felt like this was going to take forever.

Lily's P.O.V.

I woke up to someone sleeping next to me. I freaked out a little at first. Then I realized, 'It's just my fiancΓ©,' closing my eyes to go back to sleep. My eyes shot open thinking my FIANCE! I jumped out of bed running to the first door I could find that lead out. I Ran through the halls, opening and closing doors. Until I found the one I was looking for. I threw it open charging through it.... and straight into something solid, before losing my balance and blacking out.
