Chapter 1 -- Amnesia?!

'It's a girl.'

'What do we do with her?'

'Bring her back and ask the young master?'

'Why not just kill her? Anybody from here is bad luck!'

My eyes opened slowly as they adapted to the surroundings.

'Hey, she's awake!'

'This is bad, let's run for it!'

The heavy footsteps disappeared quickly, leaving me all alone in who knows where. I stood up shakily, my head a bit dizzy. 'Who were those guys?' I wondered aloud. Never mind them, I just wanted to get something to eat and drink. My throat was burning and I felt so empty.

'You there, who are you?'I turned around. White and black long hair, wearing some blue cloth, with a stick by his side.

'Before asking for someone's name, it's basic to give your own name first.' I replied.

'Rikuo Nura, of the Nura Clan. You are?'

'Sena Sakura Lovato, of... ...' My voice trailed off. Where was I from?

'Of?' Rikuo asked in his always-cool voice.

'I don't know... ...' I replied under my breath.

Rikuo's expression darkened but immediately became the same again, as if he was trying hard not to show he emotions. But not fast enough for me to not see it. He must be leading a pretty hard life to have to be emotionless.

'Come with me.' He grabbed my hand and pulled me with him.

'Um... Where are we going?' I staggered behind him, trying to keep up to his speed and not stumble.

He did not look back even once, just continuing on silently. When we reached the end of the place, he suddenly started fading and I too, started fading.

A second later, I felt my feet on the ground again.

Rikuo turned around.

'Welcome to Nejireme!'
