Long winding halls filled with darkness
Opening each door with the hope I'll find you behind

Restlessness and frustration surround me like a cloak
A tangle of thoughts race through my head
Dusky and dark, the color of smoke
It will only get worse, that is what I dread

I try everything to take away the ache
but nothing fills that void your absence brings
