chapter 1 - blue
I pulled my car up in front of the brick house . It wasn't anything special , at all . In the heart of the hood and the bullshit . My grandpa died and left the house to me , it was kind of like a dream come true . A huge load of my back . I always wanted to provide for my girl . Keshia couldn't be closer to my heart . I just wanted to get her straight . well , get us straight . I could hustle less and put all my time and effort into me and her . And out baby on the way .
" yeah nigga ! , " my younger brother Neo yelled from the passenger seat .
Cant't believe i almost forgot about his nucklehead ass . Him and me were really all we had to hold on to in this world . We'd been living on our own since i was 14 and he was 12 . I worked my ass off when i was younger . I had 2 legit jobs and i some how fit in hustling weed . Our mother didn't really give 2 shits about if we lived or died and we never met our father . But from what our mother said , he wasn't shit !
Since the house had 3 bedrooms me and Neo decided we'd move into it together . One bedroom for me and Keshia , one for him and and his girl lady and the other we'd keep for me and Keshia's baby . It was perfect for us . Just enough room . But to be honest , I don't think this can end too well . Lady and her smart ass mouth could only lead to some shit . She was fine as hell no doubt and if her and Neo weren't together and if i didn't have a baby on the way i would have definitely got up in her . but , she beautiful as hell but her attitude take a lil bit away from that .
Keshia leaned up from the backseat and kissed my cheek " thank you baby . "
I shook my head and remained silent . Out the corner of my eye i could see Lady in the backseat next to Keshia mean mugging me . I couldn't put my finger on it but she had always been acting crazy around me . Either she wanted me or the girl just had a fucking attitude problem .


chapter 2 - lady
" the food is done ! "
We had spent all day moving . well , me , Neo , blue did . Keshia didn't do shit but sit on her pregnant ass . And i know she did it for the baby and all but damn , a bitch is getting kind of jealous . I wanna sit on my ass all day and do nothing and i wanna get showered with love and attention from my man too ! I mean , don't get me wrong , Neo gives me tons of love but not as much as blue gives Keshia . But jealousy is a terrible thing , so i swallow all that shit and do me .
So to celebrate us moving in together i cooked dinner . It wasn't nothing too special . Just some spaghetti and garlic bread .
Blue was the first to enter the kitchen . He was shirtless and has his basketball shorts sagging so i could see the top of his boxers . Boah ! Every muscle in his chest was sexy . His body was well toned plus his caramel colored skin tone , plus the waves in his head . . . he had me speechless and breathless . But i tried to keep my cool . I do go with his brother for chist-sake !
He walked over to the stove where i was stirring the pot of spaghetti " smells good lady . "
" tastes even better . "
" oh really ? , " he took a step closer to me and i could feel his breathing on my neck " let me taste then . "
I shook head from side to side and stepped away from him . Grabbing a plate from out of the cupboard i kind of laughed to myself . No doubt i wanted him but i couldn't bring myself to cheat on Neo .
He grabbed my arm " man , com'er . "
" excuse you , " Keshia walked into the kitchen " you all on her for what ? ! "
Blue let my arm go and turned to talk to Keshia but he really ended up chasing her because she was already out the kitchen .

Me and Neo ended up eating in the kitchen alone . But that was fine with me . I got in some quality time with my baby !

I really just wanted to explore my curiosity . Lady is thick as hell in all the right places . Any man my age would want to hit that . But i had to stay focused . That wasn't right for me . What was right for me is Keshia . The one who's sitting in a corner in front of me crying . My heart .
I sat down next to her and tried to hold her hand but she snatched away " don't touch me ! Blue . Do . Not . Touch . Me . "
I shook my head at my own stupidity " i love you baby . "
" you love me ? no , you love girls . That's what you love . Or matter a fact you love lady . The first night and you already at it , huh ? I knew moving in here would be a mistake . "
" baby , " i tried to look at her but she turned her head " look at me , look at me , " she looked at me " i love you . And i love this baby we got on the way . In 7 months im'a have a lil minnie me . we moved in here so we could have more room and less problems . Baby , ain't nothing changed . You my only lady . "
She rolled her eyes but i could tell she was coming around so i kept talking " Lady ain't nobody and you know that . That's Neo's chick . I was just talking to the girl . That's all baby . besides , " i took a breath because i was getting ready to lie " the girl ain't even fine . "
And that put the icing on the cake . I kissed her and we went to bed .


chapter 3 - Neo
2 weeks had passed since we had all moved in together and for the most part shit was quiet . I mean , Keshia and Lady would get into it like every other day but when that shit happened i just smoked a joint with blue and let it all blow over . Shit was going smooth for real .


I walked into the corner store down the street from the house .
" ayyo g , lemme get a ft . "
The Arab behind the counter got my ft , i paid and left . On my way out i kept feeling like somebody was watching me but i couldn't see nobody when i looked around . The shit was kinda scary .
" Neo ! "
I ignored it until i was up on the porch .
I turned around and instantly i recognized the face .
My frown quickly turned into a smile as i realized my childhood homie " yo snake ! wassup pot'nah ? "
" Nothing man . Staying out the way . "
" I hear that man . But yo , when you get out ?"
He sat down on the porch steps next to me " last night man . 5 years down , feels good to be out . "
" right , right. "
There was a long pause .
Snake was a good man . Loyal too . He had went down for some shit that i did an never once did he even dream of snitchin' . That's a real nigga , a real friend . Robbery . Damn , i remember when the shit went down i was scared shitless that i was gonna get caught . But the lady only saw Snake and he made it seem like he was the only one there too .
I turned to face Snake " listen man - "
He cut me off " Don't even do it man . It's good . I know if the tables were turned and you ended up going down then you wouldn't have said shit about me . It's all good . "
" aight man . I appreciate you chargin' it to the game and moving on ."
"most definitely . "
Me and Snake conversed for a while longer and then he was out . We made sure to exchange numbers though .
I walked in the house feeling good .

chapter 4 - unknown
Snake jumped into the passenger side of my black Mercedes Benz and i sped away from the curb .
Snake shook his head " man , did you see that nigga ? All smiley and shit ! Shit ain't sweet out here , man ! "
" yeah i know , " i hooked a left at the corner " He getting too comfortable . "
" Exactly . Word to my mother man , niggas finna get put down . "
I knew Snake was sincere . He had done 5 years for that nigga Neo . He was mad as hell about that shit . He had murder written all over his words and a coldness in his eyes i had only seen the day he got sentenced . He had ideas runnin' all thru his head . And me ? I just didn't want anybody's blood on my hands .


chapter 5 - lady
I rolled my hips to the song like there was no tomorrow . I was in the mirror in the bathroom and my cell phone was playing " no letting go " by wayne wonder .
I had my shirt off and i was working it . Yeah , i was .
Dancing was my passion . I just sometimes thought i was a little too big for it . Not that i'm fat or anything , i know i look good , but i don't know . It's a stupid thought .
There was banging at the door " open up . I gotta piss . "
It was blue .
I rolled my eyes and tried to put my mean mug on as i swung the door open " havn't you heard of waiting . "
He looked me up and down with lust in his eyes and i couldn't really figure out why " I'm not used to waiting to get something i want . "
I felt a chill and i looked down and felt so stupid . I forgot to put my shirt back on
