Murder by Moonlight

I knew it was going to happen again. Not only would it happen again, but I'd come to like it more each time. It's not something I can control. When the moon is full it affects me. I get hungry and cannot fight the urge to eat. The only thing I can do is take those I deem a drain on society. I have never been married, as for my time of the month would be far worse than hers. The mixture of passion, arousal, and adulation, would surely send me over the edge. There are certain levels of emotion that I'll never feel.

When I'm normal I'm like anyone else you know, but somewhere inside me the monster lies dormant until it's his turn to take over. I know it's me but I like to think of that part as something separate. I can't stop it, nor can anyone else. I'm sure I'm not the only one, however if there are others I've never seen them. The stories, articles, and reports I've seen referred to me. Not the guy that people know and understand, or possibly even like. The reports are on the wolf that dwells within.

Another Body Mutilated in the Park

Atlanta - Another body was found in the New Haven Park this morning. A positive identification could not be made. The police department couldn't release any information so early on in the case, but they did say they believe it to be related to several other similar cases in the area. The people on the south side of Atlanta are in total fear. They know what has happened in the other cases. There have been a handful of eyewitnesses to give a description. It had been reported as a bear by several different people. Others have said it looked too small to be a bear. The investigators have said they too believe it to be an animal. Until the thing, whatever it is has been captured or killed, nobody is safe.

There had been a pain in my spine that started at noon. The pain spread throughout my body for the rest of the day. My bones were going to grow and transform a five-nine man to six and a half feet tall. As a child I once got hit in the face with a baseball bat, and that's the only thing I can compare the pain in my head. It's not only a throbbing headache, but my entire face burns like fire. The muscles grow behind the flesh and feel like they're going to bust through my skin. My heart beats in my chest like a drum. The blood flowing through my veins is hot and I can feel it moving.

That day the moon was close to Earth and it made the transformation more powerful. I wanted to change because I knew how good I'd feel afterward. If not for the inner-beast I'd have never killed anyone. I'm not a killer; I'm a monster.

"I've got a gun and I want your money." I had seen the man pass, and I knew he was going to turn around on me. I wanted him to because he was absolutely perfect. He wanted to steal my money. That made him a perfect candidate in my logical train of thought; however I'd lost the battle with the other side. He shot me in the back during the transformation. I never felt it through the other pain, but it wouldn't kill me. The bullet wound would be healed before I was done feasting on him. I had been smiling before the change took place.

My razor sharp claws raked his face. The flesh tore and the first hit probably broke his neck. I ripped into him so quickly I wasn't quite sure. The monster had totally consumed me. I was just riding in the vessel that was the Wolfman. There was no way I could have stopped from killing the man, nor did I want to at that point. That bastard was going to rob me. The animal inside of me kept him from eventually being caged like an animal. It wasn't as if the animal cared that he was a crook. The beast that took control when the moon was full would kill anyone.

It ran through the park and would likely kill again. I would kill again because I was him and he was me. His hunger had not been sufficed, nor had it been everything he wanted. It wanted sex and it had the urge to reproduce. That night it took the innocence of a young high school girl. The blood that ran down her thighs turned him on. He took her as she walked home from a friend’s house. The beast had taken over completely; as I no longer had any ability to stop him. She wouldn't produce a child from the wolf, because he'd eventually rip her guts out in a field a mile away from the park. The scent of blood had been too much for him.

When I awake the next morning I find what the wolf inside me had done. It was the same as last time, and it would be the same way the next time it happened. The greatest virtue of the beat is that I have accomplished immortality. It had no inner conscious for restraint. There's no way to communicate with such a primal side of myself. It owns me the way heroin owns a drug addict. I will kill again...it will force me to do so. My life might be mine, but in no way do I control my own destiny. Suicide is the only way out, and although I'm not able to repress the beast; I'd never kill myself. That's just not who I am.

Murder by Moonlight

AP - Two more bodies were found last night near Dearborn Creek. The heads had been torn off the victims; however both of them were identified. There was another teenage girl whose body cavity had been hollowed out by the killer. The gutted young high school girl, had been at a friend's house studying for her final exams at Fulton High School. The residents of the area want answers now. Martha Brookshire said, "There have been too many cases like this one, and the killer must be caught." She is right, the killer must be stopped because the death toll has reached double digits. There are no suspects at the current time, but the lead investigator says they'll be working diligently to solve this case.
