hallucinate, but then he couldn’t tell. The floor around his feet began to ripple. Small waves in the hard tile floor spanning about 3 feet around him.

He looked down around him and suddenly he began to sink fast.

His hand flew up and he moaned in fear. He lifted his feet but when he put then down on none rippling ground, it just fell through the tile. He sank waist deep and reached out to grab tile but it slipped around his fingers like he was liquid.

He yelled but could only hear the gun fire. It reached his neck and he looked up. He couldn’t do anything; he wanted to get away. His head fell in and he saw outside for the first time. He looked around as his arms kept him from falling right away and took note of the fresh air.

It was snowing. There had been a heavy mist and it was freezing cold. He was falling through the bottom of an arched building with a black titanium color. Looking outward, he got a glimpse of the sun before his slow decent stopped and he tumbled down the side of the building.

Thinking more of the cold than of his fall, he never felt such a cold. He felt light headed from the spin before he smashed hard against a round extension of the building. He slid off and hit a chunk of ice below it, then slid onto the ground.

Jahase laid on the snow still looking out into the frozen ice land. Before he fainted, he watched his hand heal in his view as this white world faded into black.

“20%, 40%,” Jahase once again heard. “60%, 80%, Reanimation Complete,” spoke the familiar synthesized voice. “Releasing” Jahase opened his eyes, just when he was dropped onto the ground from another T shaped restraint tower. He slammed hard against gravel before he could catch himself.

He moaned in pain, and then struggled to his feet. He took in the sight around him. It was some type of large coliseum. He was amazed at the eight of the walls and the detail of the pillars depicting half beast men and robots. His wonder suddenly ended when the door in front of him created opened.

The 20 foot doorway cracked only about a foot wide before a staff and a shield was thrown out. He looked at them as they slid to his feet.

“Weapons: for what?” He thought to himself. He looked up and gasped when he head a growl. Looking back up to the door, he saw two streams of steam shot in opposite diagonal directions downward like the nose of a bull, and between that two sets of red eyes glowed quickly followed by a electronic hum.

Without a second of thought, he picked up the staff and shield and braced himself. It was a fetal attempt because the dog like robotic giant lunged from the shadow and smacked him to the wall.

He hit the wall, leaving a 2 foot in radius crater in the wall, and slid down to the ground 10 feet below. He fell to his hands and knees breathing heavy.

“Really, A robotic fucking Cerberus?” Hr grunted. He looked up as it stared him down with both heads con joined at the jaw so that its saliva leaked from one wide mouth.

The Cerberus reach out with its jaw open to snap Jahase in two, but Jahase turned his staff upward in the beast mouth holding its jaw open. Using the pole he swung into its mouth and swung out after landing a swift kick to its inner jaw.

He landed on a pillar and held on as he could. The beast swiped at the pillar smashing it to rubble and slinging Jahase across the room. Jahase landed safely on another pillar where he turned and had a good view of the beast exposed wiring on its back.

He left for it but was quickly hurled off by the bucking Cerberus. It puts its claws together and slammed them at Jahase, who moved between its arms and leapt up the pole that still held its mouth open. There, he delivered a swift kick to the other jaw, slightly displacing its jaw.

It groaned as if in pain and bucked up. It clicked its jaw back it place and a mechanical wheel spun in its cheek. It buzzed like a chain saw and snapped the staff in two, shooting one to the ground and one into a pillar.

Jahase saw this and lunged for the one on the ground. Once in his possession, he flipped over just in time to catch the claw of the beast against it. The beast pushed down on it the bar, but Jahase held it from crushing it. He couldn”t only think of his next move to avoid being crushed when the ground below him began to ripple as it did before.

He remembered the feeling he had when he feel through the ground before. It was slightly light headed and also felt natural. He looked to both sides at the ripples as he held up the claw. As he thought, he began to sink but was forced down but the weight of the beast.

This time he didn’t fall out the building. He only floated into the dirt. He moved his arms and legs and it felt as if he were in liquid. Like the liquid of the container, his movements were slow and he had lost his sight. Everything was dark. He looked up and he could see the movement of the beast in the form of white surface echo along the outline of the beast.

He looked at the echo of the part of the staff that he held as he moved it around. Glancing up with a smile, he took the staff in both hands and jerked it up into the claw of the beast.

The beast bucked up and growled in pain with the staff in its paw. It stumbled back to the wall and knocked the staff out of its paw. It looked up just in time to see Jahase smiling as he rose up from the dirt and regained his sight. Jahase smiled inside and out. He could do something that he didn’t know he could. It was like a child finding money in their pocket. He was surprised and amazed.

The beast took the smile as a challenge. It growled low and leaned back. It took off at Jahase with a roar and reached out to slaw him. Jahase turned around as the beast passed through him and slid. It smashed into the wall and shook it off quickly. Jahase took off to a pillar and was quickly followed by the beast.

It went to bite him just as he phases through the pillar and it got a mouth full of the stone. It jerked back twice but its teeth were stuck in the stone. It heard Jahase and looked up to see him coming out of the top of the pillar.

He yanked out the other half of the staff that was stuck in the pillar and descended upon the beast with it. He struck it in the eye, jabbing the staff deep into it head, until it yelped in pain and released from the stone. Jahase landed on the ground using a ripple to soften his fall and looked up at the beast just in time to see it fall over and die.

Jahase looked at it while it laid there. It all its destructive glory, Jahase was able to take it down. He was proud of himself as well as disappointed. It body rapidly decayed in front of him until it was soothing but dust on the dirt. His heart sank as he watched this amazing yet melancholy sight.

He looked up across to the door across from him. It was the gateway that the beast came from. He approached it. It may leave to another fight wit a large animal but he didn’t care. He just wanted to be free. He was sure that the scientists were watching him.

He stooped at the door and took a deep breath. He didn’t want to hurt anything or be hurt. This world confused him. He gathered his strength and entered the dark doorway strong.

Suddenly, e was hit in the chest with enough force to knock him back through the doors into the center of the coliseum. He slid when he landed and rolled over his back onto one knee. He looked up to the doorway to see his attacker. A young man about his age pushed open the door and walked into the arena with a smile.

This young man had long orange hair the resembled a lion’s mane, which fit because he had sharp beastly teeth and small black eyes. On the side of his eyes were tribal markings that resembled claws. Being around the same age, he had a farther more athletic build and tan skin. Decked out in black and silver roman gladiator armor, he was definitely intimidating.

This man stared Jahase down as he walked briskly towards him. With unblinking eyes and a hungry look, he struck fear in Jahase with every step.

“Welcome, Jahase,” he said as he cracked his knuckles. “Get up!”

Reluctantly, Jahase stood up. Not because he was told, be because he feared this man would stomp him to death if he stayed low to the ground.

“Who are you?” Jahase put up his guard as he walked up. The man began to rock his head from side to side with each step like a psychopath. The man rotated his arms and stretched as he walked up.

“Sraz is the name,” he said calmly. He put his hands out in front of him and lighting rand down his forearm to his fingers and back. “Pain is by game, let’s play.” Jahases eyes widen as this man, Sraz, came into arms reach.

Sraz pulled back his fist. He swung but Jahase leaned back and dodged but only barely. Sraz took his arm around and Jahase moved back. Sraz’s fist was about a centimeter from Jahases nose.

Sraz looked back at Jahase and smiled. He was definitely impressed by Jahase’s speed. Sraz’s eyes widened and he began an onslaught of fist and feet. With high speed movements, Jahase was able to dodge them until he was backed up onto the pillar.

Sraz had taken this in notice and shot a lighting fist right into Jahase’s chest. Jahase put his hand up to the sides of his and allowed Sraz’s fist to phase through his body. Sraz paused with his fist in the pillar instead of in Jahase. The looked at each other and Jahase rolled back through the pillar and flipped out over Sraz back into the arena.

Sraz turned around and growled at Jahase. He was confused and infuriated. He Kecked off the ground to knee Jahase but went through him again and landed low to the ground. He growled once more.

‘What’s with this guy?” Jahase thought. He was pretty sure that if he swung at someone and went through them, he wouldn’t try to physically attack them again.

Sraz when to seep his feet but once again failed. He leapt up to uppercut only to miss. He roared in anger. He unleashed another r series of strikes onto Jahase. This time Jahase only walked back, allowing each hit to phase through his body.

“Why- Can’t – I – Touch- You?” He roared after a combination of jabs and haymakers. Jahase once again backed up to the same
