Jahase woke up to the hum of a fluorescent light. He rolled over to his side before he opened his eyes slowly. Everything came into focus and he peered blankly at the white bars. He paused and was confused.
‘Bars, really?’ he thought. He stood up and flung off the unhelpfully thin cover. He approached the bars and looked at them. He was imprisoned in a cell. He reached through and began to phase though the bars, when he was flung back to the wall and slide down back onto the bed.
“Ow,” he moaned. He had taken a series of rather hardcore beatings in the last few days and was really getting tired of it.
“Can you just shut the hell up?” Jahase sat up at familiar voice. It was almost a growl that rumbled in the cell next door. He stood up slowly and walked over to the cell. When he reached the bars, he paused in all actions when a pile of white gunk hit him in the face.
‘Ew…’ he thought. It was warm but not sticky as it dripped down to his shirt.
“You’ve been talking in your sleep all night, it gets irritating.” Jahase wiped the gunk from his eyes to see Sraz sitting on the ground of his cell on a fur carpet. He wore a fur vest with a wolf head as a hood, fur gloves that came up to his forearms, a loin cloth over black thighs, and fur boots. He resembled a lion hunter. In front of him was the white gunk in a bowl.
Jahase didn’t know what was going on. One minute he was fighting this guy Sraz, next minute they were both in cages.
“What am I doing here?” He leaned against the bars as he demanded answers. Sraz took a slip of the gunk from the bowl. He was unbelievably calm as apposed to trying to rip Jahase apart.
“You’re in the loser cell,” Sraz said sarcastically. He looked up to Sraz with his small black eyes bearing his fangs with a smile. “You passed out like a pussy bitch so they chucked you in there.”
Jahase rolled his eyes. He walked away from the bars and sat back down on his bed. He put his head down in his hands.
“Hey,” Sraaz called. Jahase looked up just catch a face full of more of the white gunk. Sraz roared in laughter.
‘Immature Jackass’ Jahase thought to himself as he wiped the gunk from his face. Something crossed his mind though.
“Why are you here?” He yelled across the cells in demand for an answer. He heard Sraz moan as he stood up and also heard his every click filled footstep to the bars. Sraz came to the bars with intimidating his smile.
“Let me repeat myself,” he said. “You’re in the loser cell. Me; I’m in the champions cell.” Jahase peered over to his cell. Nothing was different than a large wooden door that looked like the door to the arena. “I give you about 3 weeks before your dead.” Sraz walked away to his toilet bowl.
‘Does he mean termination?’ Jahase stood up.
“What do you mean champion?” He said as he walked over to the bars. Sraz was urinating as he spoke just to disrespect him.
“It means that I have killed hundreds of their little Chimeras and you lost to me.” He said. Sraz zipped his pants and reproached Jahase. “The fact here is that I’m better that you.”
Jahase snorted and smiled. Sraz and he both knew is that the only reason Sraz own was because of the electron bomb thing that Sraz placed down. This sent Sraz into a rage just thinking about it.
“I hope you don’t plan on killing me in the next 3 week, because the dog thing had a better chance.” Jahase said with a smile. Sraz growled and lightning shot down his forearms and around his fist.
He roared as he lunged for the cell and grabbed Jahase’s collar. Jahase phased thru Sraz’ fist and moved in front of him. He grabbed Sraz’ arm and yanked it towards himself slamming Sraz’ face against the bar’s. He let go and Sraz fell to the ground hand held his nose. Jahase laughed for the first time.
“You’re in the champion’s cell, but you’re defiantly not smarter than me.” Jahase began to roar in laugher as Sraz growled on the ground. Lightning moved all across Sraz body as he stood up and hunched towards Jahase. Jahase noticed that Sraz’ teeth had grown longer, mouth wider, eyes smaller and horrible black claws and grown from his fingers. He was really angry.
He had prepared to kick down the bars as he did multiple times before when he paused at a loud intercom ring. He looked outside the bars, just to see a man in black walk by with a small glowing stick in his hand. Jahase saw it and it had resembled the handle to Rye’s electron whip.
Jahase also froze and watched him walk from one side to the other, peering into the cells. He walked slowly, looking into both of there eyes. Sraz calmed down and Jahase stayed still.
“I swear on all I know that if you get me in the flash chamber my foot will be so far up your ass-“ Sraz growled low.
“Shut it,” Jahase interrupted. He walked over to his bed and sat down. He looked at the ground and noticed a line carved into the cement floors that lead under the bed. Sraz growled and stood up and walked over to the bar to yell at Jahase again.
Jahase got off the bed and knelt by it. Looking under it, he saw there were words carved into the floor.
“Listen you hairless meat sack, you-“he paused when he saw Jahase standing up and flipping his bed over. “What the hell are you doing?”
Jahase wasn’t listening when he flipped the bed and saw the weird symbols carved into the cement.
They were in vertical lines and edged deep into the ground. As he stared at it, it began to get warm. His head got hot and his head started to hurt.
For the instant that he closed his eye, he felt a terrible sting of fear. He saw an image of the underside of a table. Someone else was with him and they both were scared. The table flipped over them and there was a growling scream that bellowed from the mouth of a large beast.
He snapped out of it and he was screaming. He stumbled back and fell on his cell floor holding his hand.
“Call The Guardians, they are here for her, call The Guardians, their here, their here!” Jahase began to ramble, he spoke fast and began to rock back and forth on the ground repeating phases about The Guardians, her, and a beast. “They sent the beast, call them. Call them!”
Sraz stepped back just as Jahase began to ramble. What was going on? Then he heard something. It was a faint voice.
“Shh,’ he said while he was trying to listen. Jahase’s rambling was still too loud. “Quiet,” He repeated. The voice was over a loud speaker. Jahase however was still louder. He turned to Jahase and yelled. “Shut The Hell Up!” When he yelled a faint white sound wave emitted from his mouth and pushed Jahase across the floor into the wall.
Sraz didn’t notice it but rather just turned with his ear to the wall. His dog like ears on top of his head twitched twice. Jahase came to his senses as he rose to his feet. Looking over to Sraz, he walked over noticing Sraz could hear something that he couldn’t.
“What is it?” Jahase spoke low as he asked to allow Sraz to hear.
Sraz listen in there his eyes widened. He turned to the large door in his room and growled revealing his teeth and claws as he hunched over into his animalistic fighting stance.
“Ringmaster,” He growled low.
Sraz’ Door opened and it revealed the brightly lit Arena that he was all so familiar with. Jahase however had a couple bricks in his wall move aside to reveal the same arena. Sraz stiffed up and walked out promptly. He wasn’t given any amour so he knew this fight was going to be easy for him.
Jahase watched Sraz’ door close behind him as he walked through and immediately waked out of his own brick way to join Sraz in the Arena.
He looked back as the bricks to his cell moved back in place and was then slammed to the ground by a unexpected punch to the jaw.
“Now I’m going to teach you some manners,” Sraz growled as he stood over top of Jahase. He hit Jahase across the face, causing him to slide left to right on the dirt, and then he picked him up and slammed him by his collar.
Jahase moaned as he his back hit the ground and Sraz stepped on his chest.
“Teach you to talk back to me kid!” he said. Sraz drive his foot hard into Jahase’s chest three times before he stopped to laugh. Sraz heard the familiar sounds of screams and fire and looked up to see a mass forming from a floating ball of fire.
From the fire rose a tentacle based beast with two mouths and antennae. It had a pair of dragonfly wings with horns around it however it was planted into the ground. Its main body was composed of red and black tentacles and was completely with tentacle arms with mouths on it as well. It had circle that ran up its front side like buttons and its face was all yellow.
It was the beast that Sraz had come to call a Ring Master.
Jahase head rolled back to see the beast and he looked at it in disgust. Sraz however smiled and looked down to Jahase. Sraz shoved his foot under Jahase and kicked him towards the beast.
“Now let us see what kind of fighter you really are,” Sraz yelled to him. Jahase walked Sraz fold his arm as got up. He turned around quickly when he heard the beast make a double tones screech.
The beast raised its arm and slammed them to the ground. From its roots, a large mass moved up its body and down its arms to the ground where it laid two plantlike pods on the ground.
The pods sprouted and it bloomed to reveal a green man like planet with a large green blade for one arm, one tentacle arm, and one green eye in the middle of his head. Jahase looked to his side as a small shot release a fourteen foot to him, which he grabbed out the air and faced the 3 beast.
As he stood there, more pods began to sprout up from the ground around the ringmaster and more seedlings began to bloom. He watched the first two seedlings step off their flowers and wield their bladed arms.
Jahase took a deep breath and ran at them with the speed that he dodged the bullets with.
Jahase ran up the chest of the seedling
