A battle-royale situation with hints of fantasy through cards that resemble Pokemon cards but summons fireballs, lightning, and other fantasy spells.
Infection: Episode One - Apocalypse
Rinn woke up late, rushing to get out of the door and make it to class, but chanced upon a television displaying the news. Zombies now roam the earth and they’ll soon take it over. Rinn decides on staying put and fortifying his house but is called by his best friend, who is stuck in the school’s gym. Now, he sets off to save her before the zombies surrounding the gym break-in.
The Day The World Broke: Chapter One - Welcome To The Family
The following are an excerpt from the short story:
[ “Sure, whatever you want.” The girl responded in a meek voice. The voice sounded like it was a chained tiger, unable to come out. The voice she displayed wasn’t her true voice; sounding like a mouse when she was a lion.
“Oh okay.” Violet looked away from the crazy girl. “What’s your name? Mine is Violet.”
“Gina,” She responded, tilting her head. “But you can call me Death.” ]
[ “I’m afraid not, but let’s, for the moment, talk in a different location. The Roamers are going to get rid of the alarm and then us.”
“I killed my family.” She blurted out. Justin was caught off-guard, a cat grabbing his tongue.
“You… what?”
She nodded her head as if a simple nod was enough to answer his question. “I killed my family.” She took a step forward towards the pick-up. “I must repent.”
Justin grabbed her before she could take another step. A bloodied knife rattled in her pocket, falling out for no apparent reason. ]
Revival: A Collection of Shorts
The Death Element: Season One (continuation)
The Death Element had released its first two episodes in 2019, but it has been a year since then. A lot of changes had been occurring with Revival that threw the release dates in disarray. However, now, they have been confirmed and everything’s in order. The Death Element will release their last four episodes to wrap up their first season. This season will see Zike gather new comrades and enemies as he builds up the Death Kingdom, a safe haven for a Death-Element user like him. He had been spat on, cursed at, and despised for no reason other than his element. Now he's ready to retaliate for his misfortune.
The series after The Death Element will be introduced in the second half of Jayhawk Alert 2021.
Solo Series/The Explosion Event
The Solo Series platform released episodes randomly with no concrete release schedule. No series under Solo Series had been completed because of the length in between episodes. The first episode of The Next God of Creation (before it was rebooted onto a different platform) was released in mid-2019 and the second episode was released a year later. This cannot go any longer, so Solo Series will be ending by the end of 2021. The same predicament that Solo Series faced is evident in the Explosion Event.
The Explosion Event was created to assist in the releases of the Solo Series. The name of the event---Explosion---is referring to the number of projects receiving a new episode or two. However, with Solo Series being scrapped, the Explosion Event will soon follow.
*NOTICE*
Hello everybody, I am writing this after the initial release of Jayhawk Alert 2021 (First Half). Due to many problems and issues, the Third Annual Explosion Event is being canceled. Only four of the initial ten were finished before the cancellation - this being the fifth and sixth episode of The Next God of Creation S1, Heaven Spirits S1’s episode four, and A Cursed Gift S1’s episode four.
I apologize for the mistake so soon in Jayhawk Alert’s lifetime. This shouldn’t happen again in the future, but if it does - I apologize in advance.
Thank you for reading the first half of Jayhawk Alert 2021. More confirmed releases for all of the platforms mentioned above will be announced in the second half of Jayhawk Alert 2021. If you’ve enjoyed this new event, please show it by commenting below or downloading Scrapped. New content including self-interviews, Scrapped Originals, and more will be released in the near future.
Episode Five "Black Hood S2 - Self-Interview"
“Goodbye, my brother.”
[Quote From: Alternative Universe B1 E1 - Goodbye, My Brother (2021) {Jayhawk Television - Generation VIII}]
Hello All!
Welcome to a short self-interview focusing on the second season of Black Hood. Ruler of the Slums followed up the story a year after the release of the first season and has been renewed for seasons two and three.
Ruler of the Slums picks up with Spec, the main character of the first season, and sees him working under the Royal Family to deal with the power vacuum caused after Wick’s death. The entire season sees him being used by the Royal Family to wipe out the gangs and allow them to enter the Slums and mold them in the shape they want.
Q: Why is Spec as blood-thirsty as he appears?
A: Spec is blood-thirsty because he wants to finish his assignment and get through his three years of working under the Royal Family. He also has no pity or mercy for the gangs and the people he kills, even if it's street rats who were hired to fill the gangs’ ranks that needed money like him. They’re all in the way of his freedom. Plus, he’s pretty irritated that his family is being used against him.
Q: What will happen to Lin, Matt, and Maddie? Will they reappear?
A: They will reappear to some degree. I want to develop Lin and see her life out of the Slums with Matt and Maddie. They are integral to Spec’s past as they are the only pillars he has left. He needs them as much as they do.
Q: Where are Summer and Milena from the first season? And why are they pushed to the sidelines?
A: They have made a few appearances, but the gist of it is that they’re working as maid apprentices. Throughout the second season, they are being trained to be maids alongside the already existing maids. The reason behind them being taken in is because they were at the scene of Wick’s death and the king refused to execute them or send them away. As for why they’ve been pushed to the sidelines in a fragile balance between the main plot and side stories. Season two was mostly filled to the brim with the main plot, leaving barely enough time for Summer and Milena to reappear. I would love to fix this in the coming seasons.
Q: What will happen for the characters not re-introduced in season two like Wick’s assassins or the street rats? Have they been shoved to the sidelines in exchange for Rock or Raide? Or are there plans for them?
A: I have plans for the street rats (Xavier and Alicia) in terms of a spin-off that focuses on their lives after the first season. Their story began its second chapter under the caring eyes of an inn. The spin-off, which doesn’t have a solid release date, should be arriving within the next few years and will be a slice of life/comedy entry. It won’t be as dark as the main franchise is. As for the assassins (X and Z), they won’t be spun off into their own series. They will reappear in another Historia Universe series, be it Black Hood or another related series.
Q: Where do you see the series go for its third season?
A: I see the series focusing on the political side of the Edurdale Kingdom. With corrupted nobles being revealed in the second season, I can see the Royal Family sending Spec to deal with the corruption. As Spec is forced to do their bidding, he will be faced with corruption - dealing with new hits on political figures bending their power to their own benefit and getting rid of the corrupt. However, I also want to expand on his motivation and have Lin and the others reappear to assist him. The third season will follow Troy S2’s strategy (Troy: The Demon Knight S2: Demonic Past) and follow some of the minor characters. Spec will have the limelight, but some others will pop their heads in for a few moments.
Q: When can we expect season three? And what will the third season be named?
A: You can expect season three to premiere in March 2022 and end in May 2022. The third season will be named Corruption. It hasn’t begun production, but I won’t be surprised to see it finished before the year’s over.
Q: Can we expect any surprises for season three?
A: You can expect some familiar faces in season three - and they’re not from the first or second season. As for other surprises, I have something in mind that will change Spec as a character.
Q: How will this connect to the overall universe?
A: The third season will be, mostly, self-contained. The events occurring here will stay in the capital. This may change as production starts but, currently, this season won’t create big problems for the universe.
Thank you for reading this short self-interview about Black Hood S2. This was a fun short project to work on - this isn’t the longest or the most interesting episode, but thank you all for reading it.
Before I release you, here’s a quick announcement. Every Sunday and Friday in August, a new episode of Scrapped will be released for a total of nine episodes. The episodes will range from rankings, self-interviews, Scrapped Originals, and the second half of Jayhawk Alert 2021.
The first of these episodes in August---which is part of the August Explosion event (this is a temporary event - the success/popularity of this event will dictate future August Explosions)---will be released August 1st and will contain the second half of Jayhawk Alert 2021.
Until next time, I bid you all a good day!
