Demon Hunter: Season Three - Chains of the Past: [October] {5 Episodes}
The third season of Demon Human follows after the events of the second season and follows a character introduced in the fifth episode of season two as the main villain.
This season will be focused on Ashley, the youngest of the Demon Hunter party, and follow her connection to Mandy Wells, and her past, and how she met with Rik. However, the existing characters will make their reappearances, even if it’s small appearances like name drops or doing background work.
The first episode will be released on 10.01.21.
Humanity Versus Demonkind: Season One (subtitle not confirmed): [November] {4 Episodes}
Humanity Versus Demonkind has been delayed for two years, but it is now moving at full force. With the short story, Humanity Versus Demonkind: Demon’s Imprisonment, being released some months before, the IP can finally move forward and introduce Austin Shield and his story.
The first season will follow Austin Shield engaging with the government intending on using him for their benefit, the church protesting his demon abilities, and a demon assault on the capital while having an evil god overseeing his actions at all times. Sounds like a fun four episodes.
The first episode will be released on 11.05.21.
Humanity Versus Demonkind: Season Two (subtitle not confirmed): [December] {4 Episodes}
Immediately after the first season, the second season will premiere using leftover information from last year’s attempt at the story. The original four episodes created for Humanity Versus Demonkind were split apart to create the short story and first season. However, there is much information leftover and the writer intends on reusing it to tell the second season.
Exact details are sparse as the first season is still in production and the second season is still in the planning phase. However, it will take many elements from the original version and see it merged with the new direction the writer is taking the story.
The first episode will be released on 12.03.21.
LI Production:
The Zombie Infection: Originals - Season One: [September] {7 Episodes}
The Zombie Infection: Originals is a soft reboot of the original timeline (hence the title of “Originals”). This soft-reboot status allows this installment to retell the tale without worrying about the universe or its rules. This series will slow down the pace and follow parts of the first installment in the original timeline (2015’s Rising From The Grave, which is no longer canon but will continue to remain as a testament to the past of Jayhawk Studio/LI Production).
Nick, Eric, and Ashley will return as the main characters and will engage with bandits who hope to take over the Lost City, the same setting as the original timeline. Aside from familiar characters and settings, some characters have been cut off for the time being. Liliana and Alexia, who appeared at the supermarket, won’t make their appearance in the first season, but in the following seasons.
This series will be a mix of heavy and light tones and a fresh take on the original timeline’s awful storytelling and vague descriptions.
The first episode will be released on 09.06.21.
Blood: [October] {Short-story}
Blood is part of the Jayhawk Monster Connected Universe (Hangman and The Follower series) and under the “Tales of Darkness” collection. As the first of six installments for the first volume, Blood follows a killer possessed by a fallen angel. Now possessed, he’s forced to attack the inhabitants of a teen party with no remorse or pity, even though he refuses at first. He has no choice other than to attack them.
This short story will be a gore fest and contain much more blood and death than the usual fantasy stories that the writer built himself into.
The short story releases on 10.20.21.
The Cold War 2: Aztecs versus Deltas: [November] {6 Episodes}
A sequel to 2019’s (and later remastered again in 2020 and 2021) The Cold War: Remaster has finally materialized. After several delays from early 2020 to later 2021, this series, which had been doubted to ever be written, is now on the way to completion. The story picks up not long after TCW: Remastered and sees the Alpha Squad being transferred to Ironclad where they are in charge of training recruits.
The six episodes will expand on Wix and the other living members of Alpha Squad as well as introducing recruits to help carry the franchise. In addition, new characters will be introduced in exchange for old characters like Wells and the reinforcement leaders.
The success of TCW2 will dictate whether or not a new installment in the franchise is released and if the story continues. If it does, there are some ideas to help expand the franchise, including short story/limited series following side characters’ origins or the mainline installments.
The first episode will be released on 11.03.21.
Revival: A Collection of Shorts
The Assassin & Royal: Season One: [July - September] {8 Episodes}
The Assassin & Royal follows the title characters of Zaken, the assassin, and Mary Jane, the royal, and how their lives are intertwined. The first season sees Zaken tiptoeing over the line of freedom as well as being forced to protect him from multiple threats - the royal family and his assassin group, the Order.
Mary Jane participates in the story as the driving force towards connecting both title characters but struggles against opposition and tradition. How could a royal hire an assassin and how can an assassin trust a royal?
The series began in 2019 and released three episodes between 2019 and 2020 before a large remaster bumped down any original releases. Episode four, which was released in July, restarts the story with a fresh take and high motivation.
The sixth episode, the closest release to this event, will be released on 08.10.21.
The Mage With Sealed Powers: Season Two (subtitle not confirmed): [September - November] {5 Episodes}
A sequel to 2020s The Mage With Sealed Powers: Season One, a series created to pluck up empty spaces left by erasing incomplete/trash stories during last year’s remastering process, this season will be focused on evolving the characters and seeing them grow.
Unfortunately, this season is still in the planning phase. There are no plot details available.
The first episode will be released on 09.17.21.
Virus X: Season One (subtitle not confirmed): [December - January] {6 Episodes}
This series faces a similar situation to The Assassin & Revival as it originally began in 2019 and has released two episodes since then. There are only four episodes left for this season before season two begins with a fresh start.
Unfortunately, this season is still in the planning phase and it lacks any strong ideas. There are no plot details available at the moment.
There is no confirmed release date at the moment, but it will be in December.
