“Fuckin’ need to feel you,” he growls and starts a fast pace that I don’t mind him using on me. I love feeling his cock inside me.
Within moments he has me ready to go over the edge.
“Touch yourself,” he commands through clenched teeth.
I do as he says, his fingers tight on my ass. Malice’s pace picks up and I’m thrown over the edge. I scream his name as he growls mine as he finds his own release.
Malice stills his movements as we try to catch our breath.
“Fuckin’ love you, Willow,” he pants.
“Love you too, Mattox. I don’t know what I’d do without you,” I whisper breathlessly, my voice laced with so much emotion.
“Same here, Dewdrop, if something were to happen to you, it would kill me.” Malice’s admission causes me to love him that much more.
This is why our souls connect. Why he’s the other half of mine and I’m his. I’ll gladly take care of him as he does me. No matter what we face in the future. Long as we do it together.
That’s all that counts.
Epilogue
Malice
Three weeks later
“We’ve got a problem.” Cy comes rushing into the main room where Hammer and I were sitting discussing the latest on what to do with my father.
“What?” Hammer asks, immediately coming to his feet.
I follow suit and wait for Cy to tell us what’s going on.
“Devil’s Bar just went up in flames,” Cy says.
“Fuck,” Hammer snarls. “Do we know who started it?”
“Oh yeah, Prez, they didn’t bother hiding their faces when they threw the Molotovs through the windows. Seems your in-laws are at it again,” Cy informs him.
“Fuck. Those motherfuckers are back and that means now we have to deal with this shit on two fronts,” I growl, thinking of the fact my father hasn’t made his move just yet.
My uncle’s funeral hit the papers and said that he’d died in a robbery at his home. I knew my father wouldn’t have brought the police to our door for his brother’s death. That would mean the papers would be all over it.
“Those assholes are gonna get on my everlasting nerve,” Hammer sneers.
“Who’s going to get on your nerves?” Avery asks, joining us while holding their son, Tate.
Willow comes and joins her without any of ours since they’re in our room, down for the night, at least for the first part of the night. I swear they’re like clockwork. They go down at eight, wake up at eleven, eat and go back down until three-thirty or four in the morning, only to do it again at six. I wrap my arm around her, debating taking her to the room to have a bit of fun between the two of us before the triplets wake but I know I’ve gotta deal with club business first. “We’re heading out for a bit,” I mutter, wishing I didn’t have to go out.
“The cunts who are your siblings lit Devil’s Bar on fire. We gotta get down there and deal with the situation,” Hammer says.
Avery’s face pales at the mention of her siblings as Willow stiffens. Both women stiffen at the mention of a fire.
“Where’s Quinn?” Avery asks nervously.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Glancing around the room, I look to Gunner, who’s heading in our direction from the hallway leading toward the members’ rooms. He must have gone to put Delilah down for a nap in his room. “You seen Quinn?” I ask him.
He gets a look that crosses his face and his jaw clenches. “No, why?”
“Devil’s Bar went up in flames. She was supposed to be here after her shift there,” Avery announces. Quinn used to be one of the dancers, but we’d offered her a position at the bar when one opened up.
“Fuck,” Gunner yells and rushes for the door.
Not this shit again.
“We’ll be back,” I say, looking to Willow and giving her arm a squeeze.
Rushing out the door behind my brother, I catch up to him and straddle my bike. Something’s up and I wanna know what it is, but first we need to get to Devil’s Bar to find out if she’s okay.
Time seems to slow as we pull up to where the fire trucks are taking in the scene. I put the kickstand down and look at my brothers. There’s no way anyone could have survived that if she were in there.
Gunner starts forward, dropping his bike to the ground, not caring about anything else.
“Quinn,” he roars her name.
“Sir, I’m sorry, you’re gonna have to stay back,” a police officer says, blocking Gunner from going around.
“My woman was in there,” Gunner yells, running his hands through his hair.
The fire chief comes over, seeing that we’d arrived, a grimace in place on his face. “I’m sorry, guys. We didn’t get here in time. Three people were caught in the fire. They didn’t make it.”
Pain hits me in the chest and I’m gutted by the loss of a good woman—a woman who’d been there for my ol’ lady.
Fuck.
Gunner falls to his knees and I kneel down next to him. He’d fallen for her even when he didn’t want to at first. I knew this. Because he’d told me so. They’d had it out months ago with the news of who Delilah’s father really is. Come to find out, it’s my brother and though he’d wanted to hate her for keeping his daughter from him, he understood, and they’d been seeing each other. He’d been ready to claim her as his ol’ lady and now she’s gone.
I make a promise to myself that when we get our hands on those fuckers for what they’ve done, I’ll make sure they suffer for this. No one with a soul could do something like this and now we know where our focus is now switching to in this time of war.
Revenge will be sweet when it is claimed.
Until then, my brothers and I will be here for Gunner as we overcome the pain and hurt of
