“Fuck, Willow,” he rasps huskily as I release his cock with a popping sound. “Where the hell did you learn that shit?”
Smiling, I pull away and look up at him from where I’m kneeling in front of him. “I wanted to do something special for you,” I whisper quickly.
“Dewdrop, you givin’ me those three kids is special, you givin’ me superb head is phenomenal.” He grins, reaching out to help me off the floor. “Besides, you’re still recovering from a C-section. Thank you, baby, but I’d have waited.” My chest tightens at his gentle words.
Malice lifts the bottle of shampoo, pours some into his hand, lathers it into my hair, and takes his time washing it out. He repeats these movements with my conditioner. When he goes to wash my body, Malice is tentative in washing me, making me want more with each touch. I pout as he only allows himself to graze along my entrance.
“The day the doctor gives you the thumbs up, Willow, you’re all mine. I’m gonna fuck you, love you, and take you every way I can think of. We’ll see if Lissa and Quinn will look after the triplets for a day and I’m gonna have my wicked way with you.” Oh God, how I want that to happen right now. But I’m still healing, and he won’t go there.
Not yet, at least, but soon. Soon he’ll take me, and I’ll be ready.
The sound of a phone vibrating wakes me, and I glance at the clock on the nightstand, noticing the time.
Ugh.
Who would be calling at four in the morning?
“Yeah?” Malice grumbles into the phone, his body going from relaxed to tense in a matter of seconds, “You sure?” he growls and gently moves my arm from around him and stands up from the bed. “Fuck. Alright, give me ten minutes and I’ll be there.”
Hanging up, Malice lets out a frustrated breath, shakes his head, and looks down at me on the bed. “I gotta see to some club business, Dewdrop. I’ll be back in a while. You need something, text me. I know Quinn stayed here last night rather than going home. According to Gunner, she’d wanted to stay here to help you in case you need it. She understood you not wanting to trust many people with the triplets.”
I give him a smile at his obvious apprehension. He doesn’t want to leave me alone to have to deal with the three babies by myself. I know I can handle it on my own but to take care of them on my own is still scary as hell.
Throwing the blanket off of me, I stand up from the bed, the t-shirt Malice gave me to sleep in falls to my knees, and I move to stand within his arms.
“I love you, you know that?” I murmur, pressing a kiss against his chest.
Malice’s arm circles around my waist and pulls me tighter in his embrace. “Yeah, Dewdrop, I know you do. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have taken me back as easily as you did after I left you alone for months on end without even talkin’ to you.”
“How about we not bring that up?” I mutter, not wanting to think of the time we spent apart.
“We’re gonna have to talk about it, baby, and we will be soon. But right now, I gotta go attend to club business,” he grumbles, leaning forward to press his forehead against my own.
“Okay, be safe and come back to me. You have a promise to keep, and you can’t do that if you get hurt,” I say, teasing him.
Chuckling, Malice lifts his head and lets go of me. I sit on the bed watching him as he gets dressed in a pair of faded denim jeans from last night with the belt still attached to them, boots, then gets up to throw an old Harley t-shirt on. He puts his shoulder holster on before finally putting on his cut. With it in place, he grabs his guns from the safe he’d placed them in and clips his hunting knife to his belt.
Once he’s ready, Malice turns his attention to our two boys and, as he calls Gemini, our princess. He gives each of them a touch to their cheeks before coming to me.
Malice bends at the waist, pressing his fist into the mattress. “Love you. Get some rest, Dewdrop,” he murmurs. His lips touch mine in a longing kiss that ends all too soon.
I lie back on the bed, resting my head against his pillow, my eyes on him as I follow him with my gaze. The moment the door to our room closes behind Malice, I open my mind to the silence and pray that everything will be okay.
Chapter Thirteen
Malice
The last thing I want to be doing at the crack of fuckin’ dawn is going to the shed to deal with Bambi. Unfortunately, with her stepbrother showing up at the gates to the club, having the balls to demand to speak to the bitch, forced it.
We want fuckin’ answers and to get them, I’ll force them out of both of them. Several members of the Franklin charter showed up late last night. Along with them, not only did Ally come, but Hades’ ol’ lady came with them as well.
Fuck me. Normally I’d be pissed they’d bring women with them to deal with shit here, but I get it now. They want their ol’ ladies close at all times.
And who can blame them after what both women went through? I’d stood in the barn-like building my brothers called the shed up at their charter and watched Ally flip on a woman who’d caused her pain and those around her.
Walking into the shed out back, I get chin lifts from all of the brothers from the Franklin charter as they stand with my brothers from here. All of them stand with their arms crossed over their chest.
“He talk yet?” I ask.
“No,” Hammer growls, bending his
